Had a shop do it.

 

The corners are nice and they keep down pretty good.

What about a seal that accepts the chrome trim? Was that an option?

Yep they can get that one to. That's actually the only one they had in stock. The seal without the trim was a special order.

Yeah I just called them. He said they might also be able to place a defrost wire in the glass too.

Front or rear? Rear was available in '73 AFAIK. Why didn't you go with the chrome option?

Wagons were Canada. Sedans were 73 I believe. Sedans may have also had it in Canada.

 

my parents range rover had front defrost, couldn't see the filament until your face was like 8 inches from the  glass. It would melt ice in 15 seconds. Best defroster I have ever seen.

Rear. There was a white '68 at bluelake last year that had rear defrost. I think I remember him saying it was only offered in Canada.

 

And as for the metal trim meh it's not really my style I guess.

Mos def need a defroster. With no seals and Winter my rear window is quite frosty. Ive been thinking of looking for a place to do defrost rear windows.

Wagons were Canada(same as sedans). Sedans were late 71(72 model) I believe. Sedans may have also had it in Canada.
