FoxyRoadster
my poor little vw is like a ductape monster on the dash, I've patched every air hole so I wont feel like I'm riding a motorcycle. lol Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
You know I think every year of Dub had a different style of heater in them. A friend had the infamous gas fired heater that would start with a shotgun bang and cloud of smoke.:D The rest forced air through the rockers? to the dash. Best I ever saw was a windshield with a palm sized clear patch in both bottom corners. BUT, if you wanted to go somewhere through snow you can not beat a Dub. They are friggin' unbelievable through drifted snow. Quote Link to comment

Jason
It was kinda cold this morning, -6C or 21F to you dudes down in the warmer parts of the continent .... I'm kinda thinking there's not gonna be much in the way of snow this year. Edited December 8, 2009 by Jason Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Hi Jason, was about -6 here too. I slept in this morning so I drove in to work. Tomorrow I'll be biking as usual. Could not pound 6" spikes into the frozen ground this morning at work. I expect another -6 Tuesday... and I think you meant 21 degrees F. Quote Link to comment
Jason
Oops, Hi Mike! Yep, you be right as usual, I'll change it so I won't confuse everyone so bad! Man, I spent a good 7 hours outside working on the 'goon yesterday, it was cold! My hat's off to you working outdoors all week in this kinda weather! It's no wonder you gotta "Pam" yourself. Say, perhaps we should try the "Sam Mcgee" warming method, might prep me for later on! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I won't mention how cold it is here, as I don't want to sound like a whiner. But the sun isn't even shining, all cloudy. Quote Link to comment
1Low620
The sun was shining here around Newberg/Tigard area, and we were the warmest county sitting at 25% F, I hope we don't get a few inches of ice this year, I'd welcome * some * snow though! Quote Link to comment
KELMO
I insulated my garage door this weekend...upper 20's outside this AM, but was about 50 to 55 (F) in the garage. Too bad I had to go outside to go to work:blink: Quote Link to comment
