Yeah, he goes by quite a bit in the summer.. There used to be a couple of brothers just a few houses down that ran real winged sprints and they test drove them some-bitches on the street ,, even gotta a wheelie going by one time.. but if you don`t,, or forget to,, fill the box with cool ,,,, ? .,,, wont it then do the opposite and warm the fuel because of the underhood temps? I see your theory though,,, our MR2s have a side vent with a small fan down the tunnel for cooling underhood temps but they also have alot of perforations in the hood to let the air back out though. Maybe what you need is a summer hood with (( TASTEFUL )) scoops and, or vents and a not summer hood. Again,,, notice the word tasteful

Just take criticism for what it is and move forward,, sometimes you get great ideas by the craziest suggestions.. That`s why i found a home here. You should really get to know your local Datsun guys it,, as much as we come off as total douchebags ,,we try to give a hand if we can,,,,,,,,, Ok we`ll stand around in your garage drinking all your beverages and take pictures of you working,,, but the thought is there. and we are going to be needing pictures of said 82 Yama-chopper immediately

The article posted is about the older style not the newer A10 style ,, we have both the old and new style 510s, and we cruise around everywhere together, and both cars have their admirers ,, they just seem to be a different type of people.. The old 71 seems to attract old ladies that drove one to high school or old men that are astonished to actually see one on the road.. The newer 79 A10 seems to attract a much younger crowd that are mostly into rusted out, dumped to the ground , 80s Toyota corollas and such that are all the rave today,, and being younger they have substantially less money..

I would replace all the rubber under hood before you go worring about stance and all ,, those old hoses are going to disappoint you man. That may sound dickish but i have been into really old cars for a very long time and i can say i have seen it alot with cars that sit for long periods of time... Head gaskets don`t like sitting either. Welcome to the monkey house ,, hope ta see you out cruising that rig.
