It`s not possible to overcool your engine if you have a working thermostat. The car would normally have a fan spinning if engine was running on his Maxima. Much like 98% of the cars on this website. It`s 56 degrees almost everyday of the year out where Pumkin lives not,, Barrow Alaska.

If you run a 85-87 jetta/ golf setup they work pretty good and are self contained wiring wise, and easy to get replacement relays and parts for., Ran one on my brothers 82 supra for ten years till he got hit and totaled car.. I have a electric fan on my 55 and it`s a switch for high / low /off but i just always leave it on low so no worries about other drivers.

Yeah a run through Mt. Hood would be alot more pleasant in a zippy littlecar,, instead of a 12 mile to the gallon road hog... After crunching the numbers i am not sure i am willing to haul it that far for the little extra i would make.. Because feeding all my sons on road food would literally eat up quite a bit of any profit..

Ok that throws a monkey wrench in it,, becauseit looks like there is some really straight parts when you get into the desert looking landscape, ( on the satellite view ) , but was worried about the wooded parts as i assumed they were very curvy,, and that would be hard on brakes and nerves. So i have an offer to buy my old 57 4door for full asking price but the dude wants it delivered to Redmond Oregon.. I am looking at Google maps and it says Hwy 26 is shortest.. I am sceptical and want to know if going south to Salem or even Eugene is easier and faster.. I will be pulling a dual axle trailer both ways and don`t want to expore the backroads of America,,, just get there and back somewhat stress free.. Short version,,,, From Portland what is the easiest way to Redmond Oregon pulling a loaded trailer. Help me..
