  1. Sweet, it's cool seeing a Civic that's built for function, not stance. Good luck!
  2. Is it possible/feasible to do? Only reason I ask is because I believe my flywheel is warped (all my clutches come off warped regardless of brand and PP combination, and it's not leaking) and it's annoying. I'm killing clutches on this thing. New clutches feel good for about a week before the initial friction zone is gone, and then they grab snappy and only start to feel friction at the top of the pedal. I was looking at aluminum replacement flywheel/clutch combo's and they are wayyyy cheaper and widely available compared to the L20B which is a lot harder to find at a good price.. Just seems like it should work, but maybe I'm under thinking this?
  3. Forgot to mention I got some Ellipsoids a month or so ago. Since the battery on the 620 doesn't clear the passenger side headlight, I'm gonna re-locate the battery to the bed. (probably under since it's an AGM and I can mount it sideways) Or i'll buy a cheap universal and bolt it across the top through the bed to keep people out of it. I've gotten my bodywork scheduled too. Got a friend at a resto shop that's probably one of the best body guys in the south. We're planning on making some new rockers and replacing a few bits of metal on the truck in a few weekends, depending on funds for some other projects.. his current project that he and a friend have been working on.. powered by Autozone parts. i'ts been a blast trying to find shit for this. My buddy gutted one of his old Suzuki Swift GTI's and offered me his stock Recaro buckets for $100 that I think I might go for at some point. And last but not least, re-gasketed and did a general cleaning and inspection of my Weber. Runs a lot better and a lot less ugly after some brake parts cleaner after taking this pic of the ugly old thing.
  4. We had a good 10 at the last old school meet :P If that wasn't on the other side of the state I'd go. Damn you easterners :fu:
  5. Those wood grain are pretty badass. What bulbs do they use? How many of these do you have each?
  6. It all depends on the muffler you use. Ditch the cat and use a nice Magnaflow for the best tone/volume control. Performance gain is marginal. Noticeable but nothing to brag about. Totally worth it for the awesome Z24 sound. My L20B with header, 2.25'', and Flowmaster super 10. Pretty obnoxiously loud, and it's not hardly even close to singing yet either.. I need a resonator.
  7. Awesome! That would be cool to have with the correct 510.

  8. It's a Nikon D3100 with a variety of lens's and a little bit of post-processing.
  9. Probably okay, but you'll start to loose power there. I found most power at 11-13 btdc

  11. Right before I clicked on this I was thinking, bout the only damn thing you can use one for is a cup holder. Cheap flimsy metal.
  12. last but not least, this goes ahead of this all. Stopped by the park with a buddy to shoot his 510. 13. Finally an update!! Copied from another forum... sorry if it seems scattered... I fell behind updating it. My GF has been here for the last month so we've been hanging out. Just a bunch of random pictures here for the most part. She got me one of my favorite pictures blown up for Christmas. I love it! About a week or so ago, I was having oil PSI issues. (Oil light came on at idle) I was about ready to condemn the bearings and pull the motor after replacing the oil pump with a high volume pump which had no effect. After changing the oil and PSI sender (again) it's all fine. Dodged a bullet there. Best part about this oil pump is that it's external, and easy to remove. Driven by the distributor shaft, so I pulled the dizzy and used a set of vice grips to hold the shaft in place. 10 min later and I have a brand new oil pump in. I'm using a KA-E oil pump, since it's a higher volume pump. GF changing the oil PSI switch. Visited a friend around the corner and used his fender roller to play around. We only pulled the rear, since my fronts cleared with my current camber after doing some adjustments with a baseball bat a week before. There is NO more lower the front can go though. We took a TON of pictures out at a closed parking lot. Enjoy. This shows about how stretched my fenders have gotten now. _DSC0067 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0069 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0074 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0075 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0079 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0096 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0117 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0118 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr

Welcome! be sure to post pictures. Nice to see more east coasters over here
  15. Not bad! You should ditch the TBI for a good old carb though ;) TBI made those motors feel soooooo weak.

  18. Personally, I'd pull it and get it turned. i wish I did the last two times I had my clutch off, but I didn't. And I am about 90% sure it's why my last clutch went to shit, as well as my current one (warped)
  19. It wasn't fake, it's purpose was to keep the hot t-stat housing from melting the rubber. I trimmed it so it had an inch of play, and secured it with some wire clamps to keep it from moving around. Seems like it was just very cheap vacuum line. It was dry rotted and all sorts of crappy right on that end.
  20. Getting pretty close to paint. Just need to make a final decision for color.

I would say black, but your ass would fry under that Georgia sun. I say 370z yellow.

  21. Alright, going back to all that in a moment... had some off time yesterday so I pulled my carb and found this: Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture??? Fawking brand new vacuum line broke and I didn't notice it because of the steel braiding over it. (I tucked some of my lines, and they were melting on hot stuff.) I looked over it before but didn't see it until now. I pulled the carb adapter off and made new gaskets for the carb/adapter with some cork/rubber material. Got it together, and noticed the difference instantly. The truck is 100x better then before. I still have an issue with my top end, which i still think is jet related. When I open the throttle up past the secondaries, I can actually feel a loss in power after about 4K RPM. I have great midrange and torque, but my top end still suffers. As far as the heat riser, I've gotten an aftermarket K&N from a friend that I'm gonna try to modify to run hot air off of the header. The weather hasn't been cold enough to test it after fixing my vacuum leak though so i may not need it.
  22. One gun I'd really LOVE to own: H&K MR762A1. Alas, I don't have $5K+ for even the basic model. But 7.62 NATO semi-auto would be fun as shit to take to a range  They make them about an hour away from where I live. My dad used to work next door to the H&K warehouse, and Glock warehouse. Yeah, i figured that pretty quick mentioned shot gun, and I looked at the barrel diameter.
  23. ^^I think know that gun, but don't know what it is. i shot one as a kid. It's a 30.06 I think? I need a gun. Been thinking about picking up a 9mm or something that i can load with hollow points and carry around in my truck with me. I work on the shady side of town.
