  2. Anyone got a link to the FS thread with the person selling all the Weber manifolds/stuff?

  3. It's mid-engine. Very tough to make an aftermarket exhaust on these.
  4. Need to locate these parts asap pending payment sometime in the next few days: L20B Front sump truck pan in good shape L20B Timing cover in decent shape (doesn't need to be perfect) SINGLE DCOE Weber side draft mani Single Weber DCOE 45 in good shape preferably jetted to run L20B ALSO: May need linkages for Weber single DCOE-mani
  5. Welcome! I'll ignore the fact that you owned a Honda, since you now in fact own a Datsun  (just kidding) Looks like a good car to start with. The cleaner the better
  6. I remember seeing that a few months back. I think Indy needs to take welding lessons from her :ninja:
  7. Autozone lists an ATC at $184 with synchro's but I read about someone having an issue with most of the bearings being incorrect. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/ATC-Pro-King-Manual-Transmission-Rebuild-Kit/1979-Nissan-Datsun-280ZX/_/N-imgvtZ6o2tw?itemIdentifier=898295_451016_5207_148651 NAPA doesn't even list the '79ZX as FS5W71B equipped... wtf?
  8. I'm gonna need to rebuild it, and prefer to get all my bearings/synchros as a kit. A couple places sell them, but what's actually good? I don't want to have an issue with this and have to do it AGAIN down the road.
  9. Why do you need to hook one to the A/C clutch? Get an electric fan T-stat for the radiator, so it turns on when the engine reaches your desired temp.
  10. Nice! I'm with Laecaon. Great color!
  11. Stopped by one of my accounts at work to deliver an engine for a Jeep Commanche. This is sitting in the back of his shop. I'll post the rest of the cool stuff later.
  12. All valid points!! Except the fwd part. There are some FWD Datsuns :(
  13. Buddies new '06 STI. Cobb tuned, HKS sequential BOV, Perrin downpipe, turbo timer, launch control, etc. He just got it so we don't know what all's on it yet. Pretty wicked fast when i drove it. My younger brother and I spent the day fixing some stuff for him.
  14. Ditto over brass being repairable. And not so cheap.
  15. Ahhhh dang, right on. Didn't even think about class restrictions. DERP.
  16. Cobb tuned STI with mods = fastest car I've driven to date. Climbs from 60-100 faster then you can even comprehend.

      Nice !!!

Police around here had an undercover WRX lol

  17. I don't understand.. they basically just built a KA. Why not just use the KA? its cool and all, but just seems more cost effective to build a KA-DE
  18. That's pretty friggen awesome! I would loveee to have that
  19. I get a wobble at high speed in my 620, I also have play in my idler and center link. Just something to consider.
  20. Out of sheer curiosity, have you tried Nissan yet?? ORRRR http://www.jdmlegends.com/?page_id=39
  21. Can you modify the backing plate to allow them to work??? I'm on my phone right now so I can't really check, but I think 521 and 620 were identical, or close.
  22. I drove this car and can honestly say it's as much fun as it look. i'd buy it if I was in the market for another car. Good seller as well.
