  1. Dunno, they were on the truck when i got it. I still have em if you want buy them.

    Lug nuts

Discount should have them. So do autoparts stores, but good luck finding a full set without driving all over town.
  3. Very rare, it only happens when something else fails or on a poor rebuild. From what I've gathered on Ratsun, bearings generally only spin when there's an oiling problem. Like gasoline thinning down the oil??? Would explain all of it IMO, from the break to the fire. I say find another L20B and get her going with another reliable motor
  4. Even if you were, I doubt it's worth it unless you run high RPMS a lot.
  5. Wonder if the fuel pump diaphragm leaked gasoline into the oil, enough to thin out the oil to the point that it's not properly lubricating. Would explain the fire.
  6. What's sad is that we know this has to be a Datsun person. RIP society.
  7. Yup, Ratsun is gonna love you for those. A couple guys have been looking for 13's lately.
  8. Damn rangers, I forgot about those. I LOVE the older ones. But for work, we were given a brand new base model 2011 Ranger a year or two back and it was a PIECE. From the year we had it to the time we got our Versa (LOVE those little things btw) we ended up having to replace the power steering pump/pressure line because I was making a U-turn and it literally exploded, replace one tire and have it aligned, and replace turn signal bulbs like crazy. And sebrings suck. No need to tell you all why, you already know.
  9. That's awesome! Can't wait to see this thing progress!
  10. I don't piss on any brand for any reason, they've all made there share of good stuff. But damn, most newer Fords are pieces of shit. Hell, most newer ANYTHING is a piece of shit. Ford Taurus, Chevy Venture, etc. I LOVE old domestics.
  11. need moar Datsuns.

Ah nvm. I just want a regular old 4dr :P I found a bubble flare 2 door that looks nice, but I think I will stick with buying the B210 4dr.

Matt, My dad has a z car in FL we'll be trying to get rid of soon....

  12. DERP. So I forgot I posted this until just now. I've been looking at prices and I've found that everyone lists the S130 2+2 flywheel under a separate listing?? Is it any different the the standard L28E-ET flywheel? What's the lightest these can be machined to? The reason I ask is because I want the grippiest thing I can get for it, and minimize parasitic loss in the driveline. The motor it's going to be attached to is going to be FAR from stock.
  13. Mannnnn fuck that lightning. Those trucks are cool too, and someone killed it.
  14. Looks like we got some options. Didn't even think about the 521. My listings show the 620 uses a M10x1 inlet thread and the 521 uses a 3/8-24. I wonder if that 312 is metric or standard???
  15. Chuck, I.got your PM. These look to be identical to 620 from wheel cylinders, except they 620 is a 3/4 diameter. I'll see if I can get my hands on a new one at work and make some measurements
  16. Thanks! Those rims are my spares. Before I got the current one's I had them on, but never got the full set on. They're 15x8, probably about 0 offset I'm guessing? Pretty sure after comparing them, they're diamond racing's or some generic steel wheel.
  17. Kiznook, read through the thread. With the amount of rust this thing had in some pretty critical places, there wasn't much other choice with the level of fab skills Indy has. Only thing it was good for was parts. It was drivable, but wasn't too safe.
  18. Chuck, I'll get some specs off the later year ones at work tomorrow if I can. I'm gonna be there @6am doing nothing, so I may be able to cook up some specs and see.
  19. "A carburetor dashpot prevents the engine from decelerating too quickly. It is composed of a cylinder, spring and a shaft that is attached to the throttle. When a driver depresses the gas pedal, the spring applies pressure to the shaft, causing it to close the throttle lever slowly. This movement allows the vehicle to return to idle smoothly and prevents the emission of high levels of carbon monoxide. Without the dashpot, the throttle lever would close abruptly, possibly causing the engine to stall due to an abrupt decrease in speed. Read more: What Is a Carburetor Dashpot? | eHow.com http://www.ehow.com/facts_6918312_carburetor-dashpot_.html#ixzz2LJnaf6v9" Just thinking that that may somehow be related, it may not. I literally know very little about dash pot's I just know what they do and what to call them  Maybe it's sticking? Or maybe it's something else.
  20. I kinda figured ;) The way I look at it, if I ever need to go lower then this, it will be on bags or coils, so the sway bar will be pretty much useless at that point anyways. I haven't really done much other then drive it. My starter took a shit while I was driving around. Even with a dying starter I was able to get it to turn over JUST enough to fire it up. With my choke closed on a cold engine, it starts up very easily so it took very little effort. Since then, I've played with a few ideas. Trans will be coming out soon for a rebuild, and motor will PROBABLY be coming out for something with double the power. Just trying to work that out right now... I'll order my ZG flares in a few weeks, months, days, idk. I have the money but I'm having trouble prioritizing right now, so I think I'll just sit on it and play with the idea for a while. Part of me wants to find some 16x8's with a 0 or - offset, so i can get the right tires on, but that's long down the road. Anyways, I painted the letters out pretty crappy on my spare just to get an idea of what it would look like, and I kinda like it. I always like raised white letters so I may paint them all out in a week or so when it's warm out and I can scrub down the tires. What do you guys think??? 21. Errrrrrr from what you're describing, it sounds like normal operation on the stock carb w/ dash pot? Someone with more knowledge may need to elaborate..
