Yea, I was told that the engine was imported from japan. The only A15 H89 combo I can find using the 1200 tech wiki says it would have come from a c120 (vanette) but we all know that things get modified, so there really is no telling where this all came from. Thanks for the tip on the pump, no one else keyed me in on the return line. That sucks about the bumpers. I know I want the smaller jdm style ones, but I can't really do $600 per bumper at the moment. All in good time I guess.

Haha, this looks really fun. Never been wheelin or off roading (unless sliding corners on dirt roads in a toyota tercel counts...) Look forward to seeing some videos since I'm too much of a pansy to turn my datsuns into off road vehicles :P

Datsunfreak, do you still know where to get fiberglass bumpers for these? I checked out restored japan and there dealer for US buyers and they only had items for Toyotas. Trying to get together a price list for everything I want/need for the B210.

You could fit a datsun on that pallet...

Those cars are amazing, the best examples of 4dr sedans I could find. It will take a ton of work to be anywhere near that nice, but as soon as the title comes in I'll start working on it. The over all plan keeps changing, but for now I am working on replacing all of the bolts/nuts, hoses, and seals that I can get my hands on. As for wheels I love all of the star designs I have seen. However, I can't see spending 1-2k for wheels when I have only put $750 into the car. Unless I find a good deal on some 6-spoke z rims I will probably end up getting some spun aluminum wheels (aero/bart/diamond) until I decide what my final goal is. Thanks for the information on that grill. I found one last week but it sold already. As far as paint goes I'm not sure yet. That blue is amazing, but I kinda like one of the stock datsun 1200 colors as well. Moar lowar... :fu: But really though, nice chevy. I am not a domestic car person usually, but if I had to choose, I would have to go with an early 70s chevy truck (or a 50 mercury, but that is really dreaming...) It would be pretty cool lowered on bags, like a huge goon!
