I don't know if there is a thread on "our shops", so, where do you work on your Datto?

You've got to have a "used beer dopository"!

What's behind that door under the stairs?

What's that hiding back there?

Theres a 40' by 16' cement slab in the middle. The black container has all the big tools and other stuff in it, the redish one is junk storage and the orange one is all my stuff. The side shed with the tarp is my little private area. Ive got a bench and all my tools along with a couch and a bunch of my outboard motors. The pole shed between the black and orange is storage for my granddads motorhome. Ive got 55 years worth of tools in there to work with.

they are the normal 40' ones you see all the time. The orange one was free just to get it moved and the other 2 were bought 12 years ago when the shop was built. Im not sure how much they cost, but i think they were around $700. They cost about $1300 around here now. We need new ones for the main shop since those are rusted out.

man thats so cool.I build those type of shops(wow stick built ouch) aka: pole building and i love to see how people finish them off.Thats nice plent yof room.how big is it 36x40 with a pop out?

The main shop is 35' wide x 50' deep. This is the only part that is heated. The right side is 15' x 50'. It was the selling point for me. Funny story - I went in the shop & the wife went into the house, thirty min later she came out to the shop and asked if I was comming into the house. I asked her if she liked it - she said "I love it" - I said "great we'll make an offer". TRUE STORY!

This is the inside of my little shop off the big shop. Its cluttered as hell right now and only has tarps for the front and back "wall". I will be building a back wall soon and moving the workbench and pegboard to the back to give a little more room.
