Since getting the 510 back from paint I’ve been chipping away at some small assembly.

Also picked up new heater hose grommets from the dealer. Part number 27035-21000. The 68-69 use this style as the 70-73 uses a front side grommet with metal retaining bracket. These grommets should still work on the 70-73 however there will be a small screw hole left from where the bracket holds down.

Nothing major has happened to this thing. Cleaned up the rear suspension and slotted the rear crossmember. Made a new fuel line and rear brake lines from scratch as they were frozen to shit. New brake shoes and hardware.

Not quite sure at the moment. I have three motors kicking around here. I think I’ll end up going with and L20b if not then an L18.

Did some pre assembling on the dash and radio mock up. Decided to go with radio as it is very compact and has buoy in speakers. The holes in the firewall for the speaker were deleted. The inspiration for the cluster area. I think it’s from a euro 68 deluxe dash ? Anyone know what this steering wheel is from ?
