I think its Frank Rizzos Cactus green 620, he used some speedhut gauges that fit right in the stock locations.  1 speed, 1 4-in-1 gauge if I remember correctly.  Might be worth looking at his build before you make a final decision.  His gauges came out really nice.  And while speedhut is expensive, you can likely find cheaper options of a similar design if budget is a consideration.

Had a quick look back but don't see if you said what gauges you plan on using.

I don't think I ever said.  😁

Will post a photo tomorrow when that part of the dash is done. 👍

Are you going to put in signals and hi-beam indicator? Didn't notice any relavant markings on your mock-up.

My rocker switches have two lights on them. One that lights up when the key is on, one that lights up when the switch is on. I will be using those for the turn signals and will wire them to flash with the signal. The first two switches on the left will be turn signals, push both for hazards. Same for the high beams, if I choose to run them at all. I'm not much of a high beam user and may just run four low beams instead.

And I do have some 10mm LEDs for the purpose of indicators if I change my mind later on. 👍

I bought a dozen when I was putting together my 1200 dash awhile back. Just removed the stock lens and filed the holes out round and installed these.

But worth every penny. 😁

When you consider they are USA made, come complete with all wiring and sensors, weatherproof connectors, and an options list as long as your arm (including custom logos or images on the gauges face), they are hard to beat. And at what some of the other big companies are charging these days, they are fairly competitive.

Obviously I used them on the 1200 (see above photo), and would have used them for this car, but I wanted something a little more "appropriate"...  😄

I had purchased some new pedal pads for the car that came in recently, but when I went to install them and they did not fit. Turns out what they sent me were pads for a first gen Ranger, not a second gen Ranger. As you can see, the difference is about 1/2" in width...

Rather than reorder them and wait even longer, I decided to trim the pedals down 1/2" and use these. Worked out well, and according to Tim this way looks more racecar... 😁

Went ahead and installed the brake pedal push rod, the pedal stopper, and the brake light switch...

And while I was there, refitted the clutch stopper too...

I left a bit of a gap on the push rod because I am not sure if I want to attach a return spring to it or not. Also, never noticed that one loose washer was way up there until I looked at this photo... 😋

I also installed the stock gauge frame to the dash for good...

Once I finish/install the dash pad, we can pop the gauges in for a looksee. 👍

I have been having an issue with a stray cat taking up residence on my seats when it's cold out, so I needed to move something from the back of the list to the front...

Had some leftover textured panel left, so I cut off a chunk...

You see, since I had removed the stock heater box it left behind two holes just the right size for a kitty to jump through...

And now those are covered...

20220305_095720.jpg.306f88b24eeca651e97cf22688af6d31.jpg

While I was at it, I made a wiper motor block off (yes, it's temporary, probably)...

20220305_101648.jpg.cb21ee9708bc7d897823d94922a7ddca.jpg

And a wee one for the AC hose holes...

Now it's a little more weatherproof, and oddly it even sounds different when you close the door...  😄

Gonna finish the floor patches next, and maybe start the carpeting process soon, since it's less likely to get peed on now...

A friend of mine bought this recently and asked if I wanted to trade wheels because he wants something smaller. These are 18s...

20220402_131518.jpg.24d79ac662728f200db42d097eac752d.jpg20220402_131533.jpg.193835a022f9360a7e68769e5cf51249.jpg

Problem is, it looks like the fronts are 18x7.5 (a bit too narrow) and the rears are 18x9.5. Wouldn't know for sure without taking the wheels off.

I don't really want to run that visibly obvious of a stagger on the car, plus the inherent understeer issues you could induce with that much of a stagger. Thoughts?

I probably need to pull two of his off and check sizes offsets first before any kind of decision. Then there's also the issue of needing to run a very low profile tire to be able to fit 18s on the car...

That noted you'll induce a pretty harsh ride. I'm kinda partial the the original wheels you have, IMO they're somehow more suited to the car. Still, pop one side on and see how they look. The stagger certainly gives a more traditional hot rod/drag racer look.

No doubt, and not looking for that at all...

I was considering these style wheels, but in a 16x8 or 16x9 to get that late 60s trans am look...

If mine had any dish/lip (like these) I would keep them. I want something more deep dish and "old school". I have some wheels in mind for the car, it's just been a struggle to pay for them as they are $1200+ a set. 🙁

If they came in a Dajiban bolt pattern, you KNOW I'd be talking to the bank about a loan!

Ford & Dodge used to use the exact same bolt pattern (AMC too), only GM was different. Is the Dajiban 6 bolt lugs or 5??

Dodge uses the 5x4.5 bolt pattern on almost all of their cars, and the older trucks/vans. Their modern trucks/vans use a 5x5.5, which is what Tim's is.

I hardly see 2wheel drive Broncos...wow

You're technically still not seeing one.  😄

This was a 4WD Bronco, but the previous owner removed all the 4WD stuff from it and made it RWD using F150 parts. Then used wheel adapters to change it to a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

Just spent an hour or so going back through this thread from the beginning. That was a bad idea...  😄

Happy with my decisions and stuff, just unhappy with the speed of progress lately...

Gonna make a concentrated effort to finish the dash pad this week at least. 👍

Psh, you're still twenty pages behind the Chickenhawk thread.  Oh wait... that's probably not something I should be bragging about.

I had a few minutes to spare today so decided to at least do something...  😄

Ever since I removed the turn signal switch from the column I have hated looking down in there and seeing a big gaping hole that just looks unfinished...

image.jpeg.52b7ccbd5e9ed8b82834a6aa91fcab71.jpeg

So I made a thing!

image.jpeg.716ca8520de2be87f90689945d1ce007.jpeg

It's a nice tight fit and stays in on it's own, but I will probably add some super glue or epoxy to it at some point.

image.jpeg.3d4dfe6216a4a1c41a38cb62f8844a64.jpeg

Inside hole may be a tiny bit too large, so I may make another one at some point, just need to get a smaller hole saw...
