Bits and bobs being done - passenger wiper arm and new blade installed, trans fluid changed, new backup light switch installed and now I have backup lights.

Washed the car and clay barred the hood. Can't do too much since two weeks ago I tripped over my own feet and fell and cracked three ribs. I'm on light duty. 🙂

(Need screw sizes for the) Resprayed the metal defroster vent covers. I sprayed a very light coat of Matte Black rust preventative paint so the texture of the panels was not lost and I did not sand out the rust since that would have ruined the texture also. We'll see how long it lasts.

When I had the windshield replaced the installer took out one half of these and I took out the other. He lost the screws for the upper piece in the photo (3 or 4 screws). Anyone know what size these are? carpartsmanuals.com shows part #08510-71210 and superceded by 08510-71212 but does not list any size - both unavailable. I have a '72 wagon.

The 5 screws I do have for the driver's side (bottom piece in photo) are two different ones.

Pan head screw.

From the Standard Parts Catalog, Nissan Motor Co. @1976.

Thank you and good timing.  I have to install those soon and not sure I have the screws.

Powerland was great - I sold a couple of un-needed parts and could buy some I needed:

They are metal repros - I took off the plastic ones below - if anyone wants one or two them they are free just PM me and I will mail them to you.

The panel is really dirtier than it looks - everything I try just does not seem to get it clean. Anyone have a really good cleaner/protector/not real shiny suggestion?

I’ve had really good luck with chemical guys interior cleaner I’ll get you the name in a sec. it shined mine like new. Beautiful build man!

Fun!!!

You Bet!! Car ran great - no problems good power and great sound of the V-6 and Holley carb. No problems with the brakes since I was going into the corners gently and braking early. Maybe need power steering...

Drove the car to and from the track too.
