The Taterhead
Nice, I saw the 180 SX on the window and thought to myself I bet that was hard to change out until you open the door. You sound like a minotaur walking around on that floor. 3 Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
Nice, I saw the 180 SX on the window and thought to myself I bet that was hard to change out until you open the door. You sound like a minotaur walking around on that floor. I never even thought about swapping the windows.... That would be a pain, I cleaned the outside of those yesterday, yeah no I'll just buy something I can't easily get parts for instead Also:  I've never thought about it, the tiles used to be much louder until stuff was put in the garage and if I were to do it again I would put some sort of mat under them like you would for hardwood. Definitely transformed my garage and I enjoy them though 3 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
It's like walking on Legos without the pain. 4 Quote Link to comment
hobospyder
Waiting on coilovers for the 180, managed to blow out the rears, I think one was blown when I got it. No progress on projects but got new shoplights for the garage to brighten it up in there for me to see better while working. 2 Quote Link to comment

hobospyder
Have an update On the way to canby, added weight in the back of the truck made for.... clearance issues, jack handle to the rescue. Other than that, I've gained a 79 longbed that I've been driving on and off until last Thursday when my 180sx decided to start acting up so need to start fixing her. Water pump and pulleys come first on that list since I've been putting off flushing the coolant system. 79 long bed will get a cab swap among other things. For now, driving to canby 3 Quote Link to comment

hobospyder
So I would post a picture of the boxes I have awaiting opening and use. Gonna start with clutch on the shitbox and move on to stripping the cab on the 76 longbed to be swapped to the 79 that is seen in the video above. Gonna pull the front and rear windows so I can pull the headliner down and sound proof the roof and strip and por15 the floors. Then move on to the 180sx, girl still runs, may drive her to work one day this week to see what happens, haven't decided yet. But need to order a water pump and fresh pulleys and belts for the front end, ac may or may not get serviced after all that is said and done because I could use some cooler air coming from the vents in that car, a previous owner removed the belt to the ac pump. Will see where the 180 goes from there. After the vehicles that are supposed to be drivers are good and set (shitbox, 180sx and the longbed since my s10 is currently good) I will move back to working on little miss. Also, I have 2 other 620s (toolbox and 79 kc with no front end) that will be taken apart for storage. Only want 3 620s when everything is said and done so 2 frames are going to disappear. Will save anything worth saving in the process but a bunch is gonna be tossed/given away so I'm not hoarding a whole lot of parts that I hope to not need. Little miss and saika (the 180sx) are relaxing in the house garage, bobs the longbed is in the driveway and useable at a moments notice, toolbox is in the far garage awaiting anything (has been for a while) ducky and the 79 kc are on the tennis court with the shitbox and a golf. Shop went under the knife for a minute and I wanted to free up as much room as possible for that, need to get it cleaned and reorganize again 3 Quote Link to comment

hobospyder
So spent some time down in the shop and did some cleaning. And the ramp truck came in handy, should've moved the vehicles out of the shop using it but my stupid ass didn't think of it. End if day. I'm happy with what I got done. It was rather warm out and that was some moving of stuff. Time for bed. Enjoy 2 Quote Link to comment
