Elkie
Wayno put that 10" to good use. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
A Mega mini truck. You could widen it too, if you really want to get creative. If you have 2 trucks to play with, it wouldn't be that much more difficult than the stretch, provided you can fit a windshield from another vehicle. Been done. Called an F-150. So you're saying instead of trying to get better fuel mileage out of a 510, you should give up and buy a Prius? *gasp*! No, I was replying to the post above mine. Widening and stretching and you would basically have a full size N Am truck. Quote Link to comment
distributorguy
My point exactly, unless you took me seriously. Why make a mini truck big? If you need a big truck just pick up an old Chevy. Even the step side trucks had a bigger box than a Datsun. Quote Link to comment
cruznude
I almost bought one of those. [/url]">http:// I would of snatched this up in a heartbeat. No matter the total condition Quote Link to comment
cruznude
Hey years ago about 25, there was a truck that came out in truckin' magagine. A chevy luv with a blown 400 which was all street legal and he chopped it 4 inches and also widened the truck 4 inches if my memory is correct. Steroid post the pics of this truck Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
I guess big is a matter of perspective. I fully plan to build one of these. 3 Quote Link to comment
distributorguy
I would of snatched this up in a heartbeat. No matter the total condition I went to look at it within minutes of it hitting Craigslist, trailer in tow, cash in pocket. Rust holes everywhere. Everywhere, even the cowl and upper firewall. Rusted out where the fiberglass cab was bonded to the original cab. Box floor was bad, truck floor was non-existent, and not one lick of maintenance looked like it had been done in the last decade. 4 speed, didn't run. Made a horrible sounds when cranking. The rear wheels were heavily rusted. No brakes. No idea if the diff was bad, but everything else was. No thanks. 1 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
OH I like L motor 720!!!!! Quote Link to comment
Anonymous Waffle
I got bored in class, and found some pictures of 620's so I went and Photoshopped one. The bed isn't exactly at the right angle with the cab and I was too lazy to find a good background or shadowing but it's g.e. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Long wheelbase KC and Long Beds are 109.6" front to rear wheel. The one you have made would be 119" theoretically. Short wheelbase trucks are 100.2" Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Truck looks cool. Now build it. Quote Link to comment
Anonymous Waffle
Truck looks cool. Now build it. I would if I had some money, a job, time, and driveway/garage space. The z and zx are taking space right now. Quote Link to comment
GRpufnstuf
What is this gril?! makes me want a 720 4x4 but NOT a long one... I guess big is a matter of perspective. I fully plan to build one of these. 5 hooks is 1 too many. MAYbe on a 4x4 but not really. I got bored in class, and found some pictures of 620's so I went and Photoshopped one. The bed isn't exactly at the right angle with the cab and I was too lazy to find a good background or shadowing but it's g.e. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Non N American, probably Saudi Arabia. Does not look right with round lamps, the body and lines were styled for rectangular lamps. Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Wayno has a 720 with the round headlight front end. I think he sourced the parts from Saudi Arabia, like Mike said. I love that truck, but I agree with Mike on the visuals. I prefer 620s with round and 720s with rectangle headlights. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
Looks like you need a 119.4" wheelbase ... the D21 Hardbody and 1st-gen Frontier king cabs have 116.1" wheelbases. The width would be a problem, but it's not like a F150 or anything. I couldn't find a kingcab 720 wheelbase. Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
720 kingcab and single cab long bed share the same wheelbase : 110.8 inches Quote Link to comment
Anonymous Waffle
Hey does anyone know what years the longbeds were? Was it only 75 and up or were there 72 and up longbeds? Quote Link to comment

Anonymous Waffle
I've only found roughly 3 75's so I'm not sure if they're 76's registered as 75's or not. Quote Link to comment
