The 1/4er windows on the car had a lot of rust so dug around the shop and found these, gutted them, sanded them and painted them.

Now for the hell of putting them back together

Trying to finish up the interior, details and more details.

Funning part of this car is, I originally started this car project to teach one of my employees auto body.

8 years ago I had a full time auto body guy here.

however he quit, guess im just a dick to work for.

Then Frank came alone and needed parts and had some experience doing body work.

Had Todd At TMG make these up for me while installing the new headliner.

Seats are from a 626 Mazda, I pulled the upholstery off the rear seat, sent it to Todd, He Started with a rear seat frame and built the rear seat using new foam and padding and Mazda rear seat upholstery.

Front seat had head rest, pulled them and modded frame rails and look and fit great in the dime

Freshly cleaned and ready

Got rid of the factory front mounts and used the rivet hole to run a mounting bolt through the 510 floor rail.

used these plastic spacers to lift the rear bracket of the seat to match the floor height.

On to carpet and seatbelts.

Bought a carpet kit from ebay, its not great. Cheap carpet, does not carpet the 4inch sides. Blah blah blah

I used it anyway, take me to long to cut my own kit. and seat belts another story had stock ones but nothing clean enough for this car.

So I found these in my barn and there are new

20160531_205856_zpskrzbk4rr.jpg

20160531_222421_zps9irmyeqc.jpg

ended up not using these factory seat belts, but found these

On to door locks and trunk lock

While in Pick n Pull I found a B210, pulled the locks had them keyed at a lock smith and bam, new locks with 1 matching key. Because it was a trunk car the truck lock works by just changing the turning bracket on the back of the lock.

I use a small file and clean the paint out of the holes before installing so I don't create a chip in the lock hole area.
