1974hellarust
I have a 1974 Datsun 620 and if I go any lower my exhaust is going to rub all of the time. What's a good way to allow me to go lower? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Get your exhaust mounted up higher. 2 Quote Link to comment

INDY510
drive on 2x4's ... and carry a spare set on the roof 2 Quote Link to comment
bilzbobaggins
Through the hood over the cab into gas tank for pressuring the fuel to feed a turbo 1 Quote Link to comment
Rick-rat
Bag it so it sits on the frame when parked, then raise it for driving. Or do the gene pool some good and run it into the cab as suggested 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's all about moderation. Sure have a drink or two, no harm done. Drink until you fall down, vomit on yourself and are totally useless? What's the point... to show you can do it? To be cool? Everyone knows it can be done. Going from functional to a semi functional is cool? Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
I had the same dilema years ago..i had my exhaust guy run the pipe above the crossmembers & in a few spots he had to "oval" the pipe to get it to clear & not rub on anything. The drawback is the floor now gets a tad warmer than normal so....i added a heatshield off a 99 Frontier. Save up some $$ & have the pipe re routed. 2 Quote Link to comment

1974hellarust
Awesome thank you everyone for all help/instructions I'll go talk to my exhaust guy and see what he thinks. A couple weeks ago I was under there and I didn't think it was possible but I'll have him take a look. Thanks Quote Link to comment
