Auction description said cracked valve,,, figured i could simply pop a J13 in it i have laying arounf in shed .. and Bobs yer uncle 

 

further investigation showed it to be backfiring through carb because extreme lean miss from brand new ChiCom carb, they installed.. ( picture when you start car without choke on cold morning) ...  Coupled with the valves probably last adjusted sometime in maybe never.. 

 

Purrs like a new kitty.

Went on a little road trip with my wife, sons,, their girlfriends and neighbor Juan-ear , to Grand Coulee dam this last weekend .

 

   Was going to go out to White Swan but we figured we would be there at least an extra day testifying about some crime we witnessed and/or helped commit  so we didn't this time. 

Drove over Saturday and stayed night in corn fields North of Warden , where Flo came very close to fucking up a brand new concrete driveway.  Zoom in and check out the size of the feedlot they got almost next door !!  haha 

If you have a ton of wicked expensive hotrods but it smells like dead meat if wind changes,,, are you really winning?? 

 

Highway 12 was closed because of the wildfires so we bombed up Chinook pass but turnoffs seemed to small for 5 cars so no cool pics

I Drove  Aunt Flo, wife drove the 67 Buick , Fat510 drove his 87 Cressida ,, middle son drove his 84 Celica and JJ drove the Silver Tampax special because air conditioning.  

Wife and me each take a twin with us cuz they can't drive.
