Cardinal Grammeter
All 4 of my springs are rusted away. They are no longer available. What substitutes are people using? Thanks Tom Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
610/710, 620 and the 810 all use the same spring so ask around for the right one. Quote Link to comment
Z-train
Good parts store and ask for the "Help" section. 2 Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
Pretty much anything .. we had a missing spring on our 80 720 the other day so my son used one off a 86 Toyota mr2 we are parting out,, and it was almost exactly the same. Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
Thanks, I should be able to find something with this information. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
They sell them at Autozone comes ina red package that says "Help" - generic springs. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
If you are really cheap [begs the question, this is RATSUN] steal the springs that retract the cartridge in a ball point pen before you chuckthat BIC. A little twist here and there with needle nosed pliers and a cut with a side cutter and you have replacement tension springs for just about anything. Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
Yes (haha) I am supremely Cheap! But I did spring for (2) $13 firewall heater hose grommets. (But I did spit up blood when I pressed ENTER and sent off the order...) Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Most Napa's stock assorted springs in the back. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Bic springs won't be near strong enough. Someone send him one from a 610/710/620/810. I'd do it .... but then I'd have to cut the lawn. Quote Link to comment

denmarkboy
I guess I must take the western coastline for granted, I would just go for a stroll to 1 of the 6 wrecking yards within 10 miles of me and get something . "Free" Carquest is pretty well stocked Quote Link to comment
