I have never tasted any dear that I cared for. I always have wanted to snag a dear or the such. When younger I trained with a 60lb recurve bow and did some shooting with 30-30. Went out a couple of times. Missed on the only opportunity. I regret not giving myself more time to hone my skills and get out there enough to give myself a legitimate chance. Link to comment

smoke Posted November 6, 2014 Report Share Posted November 6, 2014 I got one earlier this year in the Wynoochee area. Funny, everyone seemed so shocked, even people from the area. My friend Paul told me there were wild pig there, so I went and poof, wild pig. I got one in about 2 hrs, so I was thinking the area must have been full of them. I have been told more than once that it was pure luck and there are hardly any. Will go back soon and find out. He was really easy to get, he was in a fenced area by some cows and chickens. 2 Link to comment
