I was out for a ride today, most of the stores are closed until next week (or until they can get more weed) but I seen one that was open, lots of people out front, so I swung in to have a look around. smoke Posted July 14, 2014 Report Share Posted July 14, 2014 As stated to me by someone "in the know" the EPA puts massive restrictions on diesels under a certain GVW. With all the hoops and bullshit auto manufactures have to go through to sell them over here, it takes a hunk out of how much they net per sale, they don't like that, so they often file it under (aw fuck it) and just keep them in other parts of the world. I had a Toyota Diesel Hilux. I made a huge mistake selling it, the thing was fantastic. Now...as to WHY the EPA has decided to do have such a hard on for diesel powered vehicles, well, that's anyone's guess/conspiracy theroy. 1 Quote Link to comment
