Rhapakatui
Yeah, there aren't a lot of reasons to know where this place is. Especially for someone 2000 miles away. That is a bit surprising. Quote Link to comment
Rhapakatui
I live in jasper county. Tying things to your bumper is highly frowned upon here. If you're not sure what I'm taking about, Google it. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/33813-whats-that-hanging/ Another thread from 2011. Quote Link to comment
smoke
Well, a friend of mine from the Corps lives pretty close to Kirbyville. A couple years back, I took a road trip on my bike and stayed with him for a few days. I recall riding through there on my way south. Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
I wasn't even aware that you could burn brush WITHOUT diesel. You don't need to start a fire with diesel when you have a Scotch broom plantation,, the diesel was pretty thick as it had sat in a tub in front of the garage for about 2 1/2 years ,,, it also had desolved plastic and paint in it as i was using it to clean a couple heads.. So wehad to make like a burn pile all day to get rid of the 10 gallons we had sitting there... And in accordance with the burn permit we received from Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) there was absolutely no plywood or other kinds of laminated or stained building materials burned,,,,, before dark. 1 Quote Link to comment

Ooooooh Nanner, You're gonna smoke a turd in hippie purgatory for that one. 1 Quote Link to comment
smoke
I have already lived in hippie purgatory. Smoking a turd during that does indeed sound unpleasant. 1 Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
My 521 is stalling at every stop, gonna try and make it back to my shop, I fucking hate stalling in traffic, been driving home with the choke half out, what u guys think? I bump up the idle screw on Weber? Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
does it run better if you don't pull choke, but simply cover some of carb inlet with your hand?? sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think cats have the potential to cure hunger (in humans). As if hunger was a disease... But cats and rabbits alike are capable of insane population booms. We would never run out Anyone get this? Quote Link to comment

Its also doing that thing where it acts like the throttle is sticking (but its not) and then u tap the gas pedal and it goes back to normal idle. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
Is it a DGV webber??? ..... mine runs like shit sometimes, and I need to re-adjust the air bleed screw.. while it's running I think it's 4 turns back from all the way in... (not sure though) ...... that's probably not your problem, if your truck has always ran the same Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
I think its some shit blocking it up eternally, not a vac leak. 32/36 weber, I like this carb Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
My 32/36 does the same thing at random times. I've already cleaned it out. I hate Webers.. Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
This one is only a year old. Its not the most responsive pos Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I've never had one that was. I love the stock Hitachis; never had an issue with one. Quote Link to comment
RatVonDude
Really, I had one a sold it to a guy on Ratsun for cheap. Absolutely couldn't get it draw right, plus all the springs and levers were jacked, I heard they are good on MPG. Quote Link to comment
tr8er
I've never had one that was. I love the stock Hitachis; never had an issue with one. Your dry sarcastic humor is almost undetectable. But I'm on to it. I have the 38/38 and I'm never going back to Hitachi. I did think about switching to a 32/36 though for drivability. 38 is quite aggressive. Quote Link to comment
