Skib, your car is lookin good. I like the two tone color, you need to take a day time pic. Where did you get your drivers seat? How much?

thanks man, lol its dirty from driving like 700miles and being covered in snow.

i got the seat brand new from someone i knew for $60, iv seen em go from $150-$200 new tho. not a sparco or recaro but its makes my harness functional and its not uncomfortable.

finally got the gas tank dropped and getting ready to put the 280z tank in.

and got my new radiator since the old one took a crap on me

Just wonderin'. Would the high pressure 280 pump not fit into the 240 tank? Or was it an external pump?

the reason for the tank swap is the 280z tank has baffleing in it for the EFI and the 240z tank dosent, with EFI theres not fuel ready to go like you have with the float bowls so if i had the EFI and the stock tank id get no gas and the motor would cut out around hard corners because of the gas all sloshing to one side of the tank.

:D more parts collecting and some new progress!

I got the 280zx radiator in, its bigger than an S30 radiator so it hangs lower than stock, not any lower than the suspension but im going to make a rock shied for the lower tank just in case:D

got the 280z gas tank in and its up and running on that now ready to have a clean L28et dropped in :fu:

i woke up to find my energy suspension master busing set had come :D

and on the way i have an exhaust manifold, and agentalpha cut my a super deal on a fuel pump, thanks man

I just need:

igniter

oil return line

(510er might be able to grab thos from the JY for me)

a BOV

replace some of the crusty bolts with new ones

front cover gaskets

1in ArizonaZcar TB spacer

some Jegs fuel line coil kit to replace the tiny stock hard fuel lines

finish rebuilding the turbo

drop the head off at the metal strippers mon.

lap the valves when I get it back

and waiting on my piston rings that are on back order.

then I should have everything I need to re assemble and drop it in :D

No prob, Sir.

GLAD to help ya out!

I have a couple of nice stock turbo oil return lines, if you need them.

CLEAN, not rusty, no kinks.

Spray some engine de-greaser, and then brake cleaner through 'em and they should be good to go.

Use the nicest one, and have a spare.

Shoot me $10, and they are both yours.

Is that fair? :D
