scooter stuff
is that a ford pinto body in the background? It might be a Monza. Quote Link to comment
KlassicMotion
The best I can figure, is that it's a Monza that's been shortened in the cabin area (from side mirror to rear quarter window), and lengthened in the front clip. That explains the shape of the side window, the rear wheel arch, the spoiler, and the shape of the rear bumper. Everything else looks heavily modified... Quote Link to comment

Farmer Joe
thats an opel.. the one that has the rotating headlights. Quote Link to comment
mrmark
opel gt, my dad called it a poor man's corvette. Quote Link to comment
KlassicMotion
Honestly, it may not be any "real" car... After looking at it again, I see elements of Monza, Pinto, and Opel GT, but none of those cars hit the nail. The top of the door, and the rear end rule out Opel GT. 1 Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
That, Tristan, is epic. Many boyhood memories, and a lifelong desire to own a real Esprit. Quote Link to comment

KlassicMotion
Yeah, same with Knight Rider.... I had no idea growing up how chauvinistic that show is, and how poorly done it was compared to today's shows. Dukes of Hazard though, is exactly as I remember it!? IDK why it's different. I suspect the A-Team would what I remember it to be... Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I suspect the A-Team would what I remember it to be... It's boring for sure, but it's not bad... Airwolf is a steaming pile of shit by comparison... So far the only 80s shows that have stood the test of time (and I've been watching a lot of them lately) are Miami Vice, Moonlighting, and Magnum P.I. Obviously they are all very "dated" looking, but the stories, writing, and acting are still good. And back to the subject at hand... I love this car... B) 1 Quote Link to comment
