BigBlack620
Hey guys, I'm new to here and new to the 620's ... I'm 5'8 300lbs (and dropping) ... Just curious if I get a KC would I even have anymore room? Or does the back bench make it so its the same room as the single cabs? Quote Link to comment
DeviousPsycho620
I'm 6'4" tall 240lbs and i fit just fine in an std cab. As far as i have read, you can lean the seat back farther. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The seat can be tilted (if replaced with one that does this) or shoved back more in a KC. The cab is the same height. Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
kc feels much more comfortable Quote Link to comment

darrel
You won't have any problem with a kingcab. The 620 doesn't have any jump seats in back. 1 Quote Link to comment
420n620
look for a 78 or 79 king cab, they have disc brakes and EI. good luck in your search. Quote Link to comment

420n620
he is in cali he would have to deal with smog if he got a 78-79 oh, that's right, thanks find one that's not been raped of the emissions then. better? :) Quote Link to comment
converted_to_datsun
Well you're only 5'8" lol even at 300lbs I don't see why a standard cab wouldn't work for you. A smaller steering wheel would fix some clearence problems and you also have to think about the fact that yes a king cab has more room but the means your feet are further from the pedals too. B) And definently go for the KC. You will enjoy the space. I am 5'9" and feel like I am always too close to the pedals. Steering wheel position is easy to move, but the pedals dont move so easy. And in Cali the first year that's deq exempt is 74 not 75 ok i was wrong about the king cab but the cut off year is 75 anything 75 and older does not need to be smogged and anything 76 and newer does i leaned this from my former smog guy who told me "if only it was a year younger" after my 3rd attempt to get it to pass then i looked into it at the dmv and sure enough my smog guy was right so again anything 75 and older does not have to be smogged and anything 76 and newer has to pass smog in california 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Repeat after me... King Cabs were built for the 1976 model year... King Cabs were built for the 1976 model year... Not that it helps for Cali emissions. Quote Link to comment

converted_to_datsun
Does it say 76 on the title? Cause 77's will say 76 on the vin if they were early 77 models built in 76 but sold in 77. Title is all that matters Quote Link to comment
