i have a new set of Michelin Pilot sport A/S Plus's coming in a week or two. Had to order them since the shop I'm using didn't have any and ive gotta find a new DD before i have something to put them on  :(

 

 

back on the hunt!

the floors are shot, its taken an impact in the rear(lolz, nohomo), and the wiring is toast

its got an A87, L18, weber,  and a 4 speed so its workable
 
 
 
 
I have a parts 74 620, so all is well

Did he ever fix the timing gear problem on that truck?

 

The dowel pin was sheared right out of the end of the cam when i looked at it..Timing was a mess cause of it too.

 

I have no clue, but my assumption is no.

 

Drill hole, insert roll pin? I wonder if you could tap it and run a #10 screw in threw the cam gear.

 

I have a spare head, ill prob just toss it on

When you remove the cam gear the damage will be obvious if it was not repaired.

 

I think that the damage actually occurred before he owned it though.

 

At some point in time the cam gear came loose and made a complete mess of the end of the cam and the backside of the cam gear.
