the 4x4 mazda wheels .... yeah those are a favorite of mine but that was back in the 4sp days.....who knows i still got them they could always make a appearance at some point again....wish i had some cheap 195's ......i would toss them back on my mazda too......maybe i should get some 155 for my sno flakes...so i can get my 195s back

Thats looking pretty nice. Whats lower on the truck: the bottom edge of the lip or the frame rails? Im worried that when you bag this beast, it might push the lip up. If its close, I would try to remember to mount it high enough that the truck rests on the rails and not the lip. I like the look though  :thumbup:

I didn't have a long enough straight edge but I layed on the cold garage slab and eye balled it and took. Few measurements and it will be about half of an inch off the Tarmac when layed out..... I'm more worries about parking curbs and shoving my good valance through the radiator ..... I usually back in Anyway but still I can still do dumb shit p

I am paranoid parking my Z32 and girlfriends golf too.. If you don't pay attention when parking just once you're screwed. I've seen some guys install a front parking cam with small LCD in the cabin.

Oh trust me I'm the king of stop short..... And I usually leave a foot to the curb parralel parking to save my wheels long term..... I'm just worse case scenario it.... I have driven ultra low shit all my so i have plenty Practice doin it wrong

I have come out to my car being written a ticket for parking what I would say was exactly 12 inches from the curb. I simply got in the car and drove away.

drove home found out about the drive train issue and seen i made a tail dragger something was keeping the front end from coming down....

decided to see if the shocks where the culprit....decided to reclock the torsion bars again

no tension onthe bars and no snubbers or shocks

raised it up about 3/4 inch and raised the carrier bearing a little more to try and cure that noise...

drove it .....rubs turning left .... the drivers fender is closer to  the face then the passenger side and i never compensated for my heavy ass ......passenger fender doesn't rub..... raised the carrier but never hit the free way ...somethings rubbing i hear a ticking when moving....

i got another idea for shocks out front should be a easy mod......thanks for the link i will pass it on to hans i am too excited to see a carbon fiber spook to care if he gets a mk1 lip...

 

sky....that pic u linked was with no suspension travel at all.... it was flat on the metal....i raised it back up about 3/4 a inch.....might have to raise to more if i cant turn this low ....gonna look at the fender see if i can gain some clearance on the drivers side..should raise it a 1/4in or so on the drivers side to compensate for my fat ass

 

the noise i posted about in drivetrain? ...no i raised the carrier again but havent taken it on the highway since....or the ticking that i noticed once i raised the carrier?.....no i will look at all those things once my daughter goes to sleep.......watching the dvr stuper bowl ......i hope san fran continues to lose its half time about to fast forward through beyonce and get to the second half

 

beyonce on fast forward is almost bareable

 

hahahaha just watched jacoby jones ice the super bowl in the start of the second half for the ravens.....jim harbaugh is a tool
