Z32 Herra-Frush Build...(Pic Heavy)

Making the build thread for my cousins Z32.He doesn't really care for posting on forums, But I think its pretty sweet so i'm posting the progress.

 

Picked it up around may for a steal at just above a $1000. The guy who sold it to him said it is a rare color and only 1100 or so were made. Not to sure on that, can anyone confirm this?

 

After about the first month of driving it he decided it was time to drop it...With a limited budget deciding between new wheels or coilovers first, Went with coilovers and is in the process of trying to find the "perfect" wheels for it now (He is a Herra-Frush kid after all).

 

Not much upgrades on the performance side (Yet). Runs and drives pretty well, Besides the newly leaking brake master and a bad starter. He is also looking into an LSD for it and a stock leather interior.

He mentioned maybe getting some work equip 03, But decided not to cause he could only get them in 15's.

i dunno about the roof rack man. works for a utilitarian car (subie, goon, shit like that) not so much for something thats supposed to be a "sports car" of sorts. i do love that bodystyle tho, fav of mine after the original s30's. all the others are meh. but those are gorgeous, and the TT versions are fairly fun to drive :)

I rode in a friends Z32 running 14lbs of boost over thanksgiving. All I have to say is WOW! Getting sideways at 60+ with 295's on the back is pretty insane! Now seeing yours.... I know what I want to get next :) My buddies friend bought a NA car and did a JDM turbo swap. Said it's easier to find a clean car. Don't know if he's right but an interesting option.

Doing the TT swap is not cost effective.. But if you have a NA you really like or it's a convertible then doing the swap is not a bad idea. It's not that it's a bad swap.. it's just it's cheaper just to buy a TT.

 

1324 made in this color (BJ0 - Azure Blue Pearl) or 1.49% of all Z32's made. But before you get all wet about this color there are 4 colors more rare than this color. Not to say they are good colors though.

Oddly-I have had 2 Z32's in the last 2 weeks with that same color come through the shop.

rain drops always make a car look better, especially when its black.

before i eventually found that ^ Z, i checked out one that the guy said the previous owner had

imported from japan. so im expecting rhd and fairlady z emblems. nope. and it had the horrible

carpeted interior.

My uncle had a 90 TT pearl white automatic though made 525 to the wheels would smoke my brothers and his friends mustangs lol. He tried to get my dad to buy it for 7000 back when I was in highschool wish I had pics of it.
