Yo!

I got in to Aalto university engineering compartment!

And I started to tear down the tranny: (not every boy/man sleep next to a tranny, I need to tear it down in my room so it wont catch any dirt)

But I didn't get it fully opened so I will continue tomorrow, cheers

Victory is mine! I will take it to the machining shop to make it fit

Update: The machining will be ready in 2 weeks, the guy in the shop was on holiday

Okay, so I have decided to buy Pro-Sport gauges:

p_wtemp.jpg

Boost, Water temp and oil pressure.

And then I Will go with Mishimoto Z-line intercooler:

mishimoto-universal-intercooler-z-line-b

It comes with lifetime warranty and looks neat! Only the other side will have the logo on it!

Just note for myself:

Okay so I will most likely get some rental MIG gas for my projects, it will be cheaper than filling my own bottle with 2 different gasses. Need different gasses for aluminium and AISI 304 stainless steel. And I ordered a new fuel pump with ceramic insides, that can supply up to 500hp and it can take E85 and methanol fuel, so you know what's coming in the future ; ;)) ... And then I also ordered the new intercooler! Hopefully i will get the ic soon so i can test fit it properly. I will try to get my hands on the Volvo rear axle and blast it with sand and then paint it. Also I need to make a jig for the rear axles to get the mounting points to the original positions (swapping mounts from original axle to volvos)

Pictures of questioned hood spring

Seems fishy. No hood springs on a 210.

  ^_^

I should probably say that the hood spring was from my other car  Dodge Dart GT 1965. Can upload few pics laters if u want...

dart + my daily driven b310. I worked 5 hours with the wiring harness of that dart... It was a real mess  Gonna do the engine bay wiring tomorrow and fire it up. And if it doesnt rain i hope i can blast the rear axles

Small update: painted the rear axle. Gonna do the Jig next week hopefully. Depending if the datsun b310 coupe and wagon have the same rear axle (so I dont have to get the coupes axle off yet, and I could use the mounting points from the wagons rear axle...

I may have missed it, but what are you going to do about the extra axle width and the wacky Volvo bolt pattern? That axle is a Dana 40, correct?

Gonna keep the bolt pattern and get proper rims to rear! And I have no idea at the moment, I need to open up the axle  The diff plate is rusted so badly so I have to replace it anyway
