YAHH!! Garaged and collecting parts. Looks like I should have the body finished and ready for paint within 2 weeks I hope. Thanks to Draker for helping me find some essential parts!! I'll post some pics in a little bit, gotta go shoot em. I just haven't gotten to do enough really yet for photos. Ill post some anyways

My brother Levi is planing on coming out in a week or two, so I do believe that when the serious progress is gonna start happening

Alrighty, photos. I picked up the (71)wagon you see in the photos last Thursday night From Pumpkn210 for Levi, so i had to scoot the 4dr over a tad to make room. but here are a couple photos of parts i've been able to pickup thanks to Draker and some others. Still looking for a valence for it and a hood. I pulled the hood off the wagon just to get stoked and kind of see what it looks like with a hood. haha  Getting closer to a full body though!

Taking parts off the good car to see what the unfinished car will look like. Classy.

Big thanks to Pumpkin Dave for the deal on the wagon. I'll be headed back west for good here in a few weeks and I'm stoked to have another goon waiting for me.

I keep wondering if they'll get the correct front fenders or just run those 70-73 ones. Either way it's a nice save.

I think we probably will try and go with the correct fenders. Zach said he had a line on some locally so I'm pushing for that.

So, we got some 69 fenders, a hood, and a bunch of other smaller parts (including some 69 hatch vents for the goon )  and started stripping it down last night.

Aircraft stripper... Working wonders here.

We've got about 60% of the car stripped down at this point, and really just need a trunk lid (which we may have lined up for free) and a fuel door.

It's lookin' better all the time  Glad you scored the correct fenders for it. I think this car is gonna turn out bad ass in the end.

Stripping it to bare metal is awesome, it should turn out great

I got the deck lid for you. It's in the back of my truck. I was going to drop it off yesterday but I didn't hear back before I headed home. If I'm not mistaken... that is the last body part you need right? Or do you need the wiper cowl too? (Cause I got a spare..)

Also I've got that carb you posted about.. might be a stocker. I posted a pic in some other thread.

It's definitely coming along nicely, although we didn't mean to be moving this slow with it. I'm glad it's taking a while though. It gives us time to really put some thought into what we're doing.

Mostly yes, still need to find a gas cap door and that 69 front valance, those can happen whenever I come across them though, the meat of this thing is looking good!

Ask the guy you got the fenders from for the valance. Gas door... I dunno lol.
