banzai510(hainz) Posted June 14, 2012 Report Share Posted June 14, 2012 On lamps where it might see water(they get rusty and stuck in there) I usually put anti seize compound on the ground part of the bulbs. side markers lights are famous for rotting in there and breaking the housings trying to get them out. Just need to get my tach working but i will do that later on. Now my parking and turn signals all work. And my poor chebby starting to become a parts bin..sad. Hope i get this new job and i will put in a new treefidday. My grandpa is hating me for fixing up this datsun when i should be rebuilding fixing the chevy. E Quote Link to comment
DanielC Posted June 15, 2012 Report Share Posted June 15, 2012 When I went to help with the turn signals yesterday, the Datsun was parked in the street at the bottom of the driveway. I am assuming the Datsun moved itself into the garage, the driveway is too steep to push the Datsun up it. The Datsun will use a lot less gas than the GMC. I would get it running and reliable first.
