Wasn't that when they were putting Nissan emblems on one side of the deck lid and Datsun on the other? I remember seeing when I was a kid. 1983 or 1984?

1984 300ZX I have seen with a separate DATSUN emblem on the left side and NISSAN 300ZX on the other side. It might not be something every dealer did.

 

As for sightings, I did see a fellow Ratsun member driving a Toyota in Puyallup.

Well me and my wife was looking through her old pics today and found these pics . The lady is my mother in law with a BIG BLACK EYE , dont ask I dont know how she got it . Any how she is in front of her 720 . now this picture is around 20 years old so I never saw the truck , but from the way I understand it is she use to drive it in the gila river :eek: my wife said she remembers water about 6 inches deep in the floor of the truck

saw a brown 280Z on Meridian in Puyallup last night. The driver was continually revving the engine a little bit as we slowly drove through traffic. Sounded like the car wouldn't idle on its own. The car looked pretty straight, but it was dark and raining when I saw it.

Saw this z car on my recent trip to Washington. Its by Lake Quinault on 101. Drove by it and ended up turning around just to take some pics.

 

Also on my way to Forks from PA, saw a 510 with a rising sun on the hood, going around Lake Cresent on Sunday about 130pm
