and then there were no updates :sneaky:

I know, I feel like a dick. Even more so, I feel like theres a huge hole in me. (Vagina jokes ensue)

I haven't driven my Datsun for almost 2 years. And even before that I was having all sorts of problems

and Couldn't drive it consistently.

So I fill the big hole with wheels and other goodness.... (more vagina jokes) lol

What's the word on this thing, man? I always check back hoping for running vids, haha!

I hope to have it running by JCCS 2014 but who knows, the way things have been going I wouldn't be surprised if there was another huge setback in the near future. Lol

But I am trying

i just read all 49 pages of this ....... still wanting more.....i hate blue balls  . Whats the wheel update?

Thanks man, can you imagine the case of blue balls I have?! Hahaha I gotta see her sexy ass everyday without being able ride her. It's like one if those masterson booths, look but no touch! Lmao

Love the build man. I have learned a lot from you and will be, hopefully, doing a lot of the same engine work myself soon too. The work you have done intimidates me though. I'm so technically behind you that taking it all in seems overwhelming. One thing that I can't believe is that no one has found a fuel cell that mounts in the stock location as of yet. Keep the updated coming buddy!!

Believe me, I am not THAT tech savvy. If I can do it, YOU can do it mang! But thanks, I am really trying to keep this going. It's hard at time cause "Life" gets in the way.

Damn, those covers are a good look! Jamel at Final Heaven hook you up with those by any chance?

No, Got them off a buddy Mike.

Hey, Thanks Solo, Might take you up on that offer sometime.

I am almost done with what I need to do and then Datsunami is off to the shop.

We should meet up sometime tho. Since summer and better whether is almost here again, we will

start up the Brentwood/Antioch meets again. And there are Tracy and South Bay Meets too.

Believe me,  I will be at all of them. I am going to drive the fuck out this bish once I get her running good!

So I have all weekend (well, the latter half of Saturday, all of Sunday and Monday morning) to

do some much needed work and procure some needed stuff.

I dry fitted my custom Fuel tube. Already got the 2.25" fuel coupler and clamps for it.
Just need to get an AN fitting for the vapor return. Which I have a question about.
My vapor tank is deleted and I have a Z32 intank pump mod. Do I need a breather of some kind?
Or does the fuel system like to see a vacuum? If yes, where and how do I add the breather.
Remember I have a surge tanks and 2 fuel pumps.
Here's a pic of the Filler Tube. It's a prototype and needs a little adjustment.
And I still have to remove it and polish it up....

I also finally got around to the throttle cable bracket. Need throttle right? LOLOL
So I had my brother machine a rough bracket that I had to "fine tune."
I had to shave an angle on the side so that it would face the pulley at a perpendicular angle.
My fingers and hands still hurt from it. Then I had drill a mounting hole and slot it for the cable mounting.
I don't have a grinder so I had to file it all down. What a bitch all that was.
THEN I don't have a proper bench polisher so I have to make due with my cordless.
Mounted it in my bench vice and went to town on the bracket. Turned out pretty nice.

And it is dead on with the pulley now!

I am also in the process of making some extension harness for a couple of my gauges. I need to move 2 of them to a different location.

It was a bitch finding the right P/n for the connector housings and pins but after a week of searching, I found what I needed and procured them.

Hey all, had an un-answered question,

My vapor tank is deleted and I have a Z32 intank pump mod with a walbro 255, I have an external bosch 044.

Do I need a breather of some kind?

Or does the fuel system like to see a vacuum? If yes, where and how do I add the breather.

Remember I have a surge tanks and 2 fuel pumps.

Thanks
