Phillips hardware is the only  flat head screws we have at work bro.. But hey, minor stuff!! I'm just glad the Drill and tap didn't break through the side wall of the part!!  enjoy the free machining for life as well! anytime!!

Thats what I was thinking. A nice NEO Allen Head will be cool. 

I'll rock the gold Philips for now tho  ;) 

 

SS, or at least something with an allen or torx drive would look better.  Death to phillips!

Tried to split the turbine housing from the CHRA but couldn't get two of the bolts out all the way.

So I thought if I could slide the housing off I could just back the bolts ot as I slide the housing off.

This is where I ran into problems. That housing is friggin' sealed on there.

I wacked the shit out of it with a block of wood and a hammer. No loosie loosie.

I have it soaking in PB Blaster right now but I dont think thats going to work.

Any suggestions to break it loose?
