My appointment for Cold/Hot pipe fab is on Wed the 10th. Then on Thurs, it's off to get some wiring and other stuff. SR20DETdatsun510
And I had some time to mount wheels to see if they fit. Of course I have to get rid of the fender gap but you get the idea. ... 2 Quote Link to comment

SR20DETdatsun510
Getting excited about tomorrow morning. I'm having AAA tow it to the shop from my house. I know I need current tags but does it need to be in the street? Seems a little sketchy if it's safe inside my garage to call roadside service. What else do I need to be aware of? Sitting in my garage on rollers waiting to be picked up.... Quote Link to comment

SR20DETdatsun510
It's at TECH3 getting some wiring fixed and a few other things. They remote cranked it to test oil pressure it doesn't want to build pressure. He's trying everything and silk nothing. Everything on it is new. He's priming every oil jacket and hole. Nothing yet. It's been sitting for a year at least. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
Did you fill the filter with oil? Can you take the oil filter off and dump oil down the line to the pump? I believe there is a check valve so you might not be able to get oil down unless you made a hand pump setup. You could also hook into the pressure sender port with a hand pump since the check valve wont let it flow back to the pan. You can always fill it with way too much oil and crank it. That will back fill the pump. If nothing works then youll have to pull the pump and pack with grease... Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
This would work if you had any plugs laying around..... http://240atlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?25273-How-to-prime-SR20-without-removing-oilpump Quote Link to comment
