Rustina 510
I'm clear coating them now. I'm planning a black and grey color interior Quote Link to comment
Rustina 510
Yup I pulled everything out and wired it all real good, and jacked her up and wire wheeled all the underneath. I should have the carpet perfect by tomorrow, great with black matts, grey door panels with black metal inner doors I can't wait tell it's done I hope it looks good, it started raining so I had to stop Quote Link to comment
skunk
Make sure you wire wheel the floor real good, or do what skunk did and use a flapper disc. shit works great, and will get rid of the rust - back down to metal... (at least use the flapper disc aruond the driver side tranny mount where that rust is. i just used the wire wheels and a paint striping disk, there was no flapping. LOL Quote Link to comment

Rustina 510
I want to make it lower, lookin into drop blocks and camber plates, and I still need some 185 or even 175/50/r15 tires Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
ZX Struts... you are currently pretty much bottomed out on your 510 struts. Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
nice carpet job, looks really clean ...for now muhahahahha  the rain and mud will terrorize , looks sweet tho :console: Quote Link to comment
Rustina 510
Yeah but at least it cost only 20$ to do it, and the more I do it the better I'll get at perfecting the job. Re greased my bearings and replace a couple inner wheel bearings. The new one is on the left, the old one was in pretty bad shape and wasn't rolling very well at all. All new right before I put in the bearing seal All done and ready to roll Quote Link to comment
Rustina 510
Holy shit it's hard to drive this in the rain with these shitty tires. Quote Link to comment
Rustina 510
And I think i have a leak in the cowel that's droppin water into tue passenger side floor, my new carpet is wet :( Quote Link to comment
izzo
Id assume windshield seal. That one is pretty far gone But could be cowl... maybe check and see if the weep holes are cleared out Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Id suspect Windshield as well. Part of the reason I never put my carpet in until after a new windshield seal. Only other spot for me was water would travel in on the hood release cable, but that doesnt sound like your problem since you puddle is on the passenger side. Quote Link to comment
Rustina 510
Yeah I'll inspect everything tonight when I get home from work and see where the water is coming from. Quote Link to comment
