datsunfreak
Still wary of swapping the seats in the B210 cause of that stupid cat hump though... Yeah, you're kind of screwed there. My buddy Tim's B210 has the same problem. We've had hell trying to fit a seat in it at a usable height. Almost seems like race buckets are the only way. I'm half tempted to cut the floor out of an earlier car and weld it in. On a '74-75 B210 it's a LOT easier... ^_^ The only thing I'm not a fan of is the seat belt guide at the top. Makes them look a little too modern imo. Not too worry, those are going away if at all possible. Link to comment
ggzilla
BRIDE sells rails for the cat side. Then you can fit any seat to it. Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Dug out my spare pair of lower side trims. One wad dented, but I was able to straighten it with a wood dowel, a hammer, and some patience... Straightened, polished, and installed. Don't know if I love it, but it's way better than staring at 5 holes in the body... Took the new rear side markers off and got rid of the residue left behind by the old lights, and the leftover double-sided tape from the badges that were on the quarters above the light... What size Watanabes you running, I wish I could afford a set like those. If I only had your money. I still have the 1200 seat rails with flat crossbars welded to them, so I can actually use those to fit any seat I want. ;) What size Watanabes you running, I wish I could afford a set like those. If I only had your money. :fu: 1 Link to comment
ggzilla
1200 rails won't bolt to the cat side, unless from a 1989-1994 1200 which had a cat. Link to comment

datsunfreak
No really though what size wheels are they and did you buy them used or ? 14x7 -9 Konig Rewinds with Watanabe caps, 15mm spacer on the front (still not flush enough), and a 25mm spacer on the rear (still not flush enough). The "problem" with these flares is they need either reeeeally wide wheels or reeeeally deep offsets. At some point I think I'm going to order some 14x8 Bassetts in -25 up front and -38 out back. Still waffling on whether to use the 14x8s (big stretch), or the 14x7s (tiny stretch), which is basically the only reason I haven't ordered them yet... Something along these lines... 3 Link to comment
datsunfreak
Sorry, I thought you were talking about Tim's B210. Understood. You should seriously go post that info in his thread, though. He never reads mine... Link to comment
datsunfreak
They are Konig Rewings with Wat caps on them... and I think they are 13x8s. Shit, I wish they came in 13x8s... I'd rock the hell out of those... And for reference, this is a 14x8 with a 165/55-14 (my current size)... I could switch to a 185/55-14 for the 14x8, but then I'd basically be exactly where I am now stretch-wise and be 10mm taller, so... Link to comment

datsunfreak
Why put skinnie tires on? Can you find any wide low profile 14s? Because I can't. And honestly, because I like the way it looks and drives. Link to comment
goes2fast
Can you find any wide low profile 14s? Because I can't. And honestly, because I like the way it looks and drives. Buy 15 inch wheels, like I did! Time to enter the modern word, maybe 16s or 17s. :fu: Link to comment
ggzilla
205/60R14 should perform better than 185s, both in braking and road holding. Buy new http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?skipOver=true&width=205%2F&ratio=60&diameter=14 But the again, i like the way my 165s look and drive. Link to comment

Not taller than stock. I have no use for tires that are the same height as stock. Sorry, but it's not what I want for my car. If you like them, cool. Link to comment
