ggzilla Posted June 16, 2011 Report Share Posted June 16, 2011 Fender mirrors are not useless, they allow you to see behind without turning your head (just like door-mounted mirrors). It seems to me they take the blind spot out, at least when I'm driving it's like I have a better view with the fender mirrors. Maybe it's because they aren't "objects may appear closer" mirrors. I have the exact same mirrors on my pickup that Brad put on his. They are (or look like) 510 SSS mirrors. 3 Quote Link to comment

Once you get used to them they are waaaay more useful than door mirrors. No blind spots, and you don't have to take your eyes off the road to look at them.
