MicroMachinery
I was gonna get a set of those, but I believe there is some cutting and drilling of holes required, so I didn't. Still kinda wish I would have for the coolness of it... oh well. I think it's sweet. Quote Link to comment
Simon89
I had to cut and drill holes to fit the Japanese lights I have now because we didn't get them here in Oz so hopefully they fit if not out comes the grinder again haha Quote Link to comment
bonvo
What's your opinions? bout to say these lights are made for a sedan so they dont bolt in mods are required Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The six-lens ones look tough. Those are G610 long-nose (six cylinder) lights. Not bad, but not as classic as the early Coupe lights. Quote Link to comment
Simon89
The 4 door SSS had these lights too. Quote Link to comment
zerow
The 4 door SSS had these lights too. These are nice lights. I wouldn't mind a set for my '73 sedan. A picture of the back of the sedan lights will clear up a LOT of confusion about what modifications need to be done to a car (610/180B) before they can be installed. :) Quote Link to comment
floyd17
dammit, im broke. i dont need to be falling in love with this car. I love the sweeping back window and the hard top, i love the rear haunches and stance of the car. super intimidating when fitted out with wide tires. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
What's your opinions? In my opinion, I'm now going to be extra jealous of your car... 1 Quote Link to comment

Raggleflaggle
Dude those new tails are sweet. so sweet that I verbalized profanity upon the image of them meeting with my retinas. Quote Link to comment
zerow
You will definitely be doing some cutting IF you owned a US sedan. But, I think you are looking at drilling a few holes to make the studs line up for sure. Otherwise, I am looking forward to seeing these tail lights in a coupe. And, yes, admittedly I am jealous. :D Quote Link to comment
Simon89
I already had to cut a square out in the centre of the panel to make the middle piece of the lights that I already have fit. Which meant I had to drill a few more stud holes. Nothing that isn't reverseable though Quote Link to comment

ChiSox
1st post! Just picked up a '73 610 2-Door! This is my 15 year anniversary with a Datsun. My first was a 710, that I ran into the ground at 19 years old. Bought this from original owner. 90k on the motor, fires right up and is certainly a sight for sore eyes.More pics to come in the following days. He also gave me a couple of boxes of randomness. a new starter, odometer console & LOTS 'O MANUALS! (plus what looks like some VW and 85 Maxima stuff) Firstly, I want to replace the cooling system, as it seems to run a bit on the hot side (I am in AZ, so this could be the first issue). Any advice, pointers and guidance is welcome, as I am not the best of wrenches but plan to learn a lot from this experience. 3 Quote Link to comment
Simon89
SIMON 89 ,WHATS THE COST OF THOSE AND CAN WE FIND A SET? Well they don't come up for sale often so they can vary depending on the condition. I haven't received them yet. The 2 door trunk lid is different to the sedan lid so I don't even know if I will be able to use them yet so they will be for sale if they won't fit my car. Quote Link to comment
