I will take more pics when I do the driver's side ,, ,,, the passenger side looks horrible, and has too much tire clearance ..... not shure how the doors will shut,,,,, a 4dr rear fender NEEDS the inner "bump" for the door to fit: Link to comment
INDY510
. You can see how much I had to cut out of the door: Link to comment
Edz280zx
Epic build....hat's off to you sir. You could always just weld the back doors shut...the roll bar is in the way anyways. Link to comment
Tristin
You could still get in, you would just have to step over the bar. Most people do it that have rear cages for the front seats. That is unless you have the swing bar version, but then its not NHRA allowed. Sometimes you have to make a few small sacrifices. Link to comment

Laecaon
Will there ever be? He is raising the floor significantly. I cant imagine your head not hitting the ceiling if you sat on the floor. Link to comment

INDY510
Why only a 1/2" and not more, wouldn`t the axles be at a better angle the higher you went...?? the rest of the floor is already raised 4 inches,,,, the 3/4" square tube was just to re-inforce the differential mounting points.. it's not done Link to comment
INDY510
. in the ending how do you think the handling would be? Link to comment
INDY510
Indy, if you want some help welding let me know... I'm slowly getting better at welding,,,, and I stopped trying to weld outside in the wind ......... . it's probably not going to be SCCA legal or anything,,, it's just for fun Link to comment
INDY510
So I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no rear seat passengers? Will there ever be? He is raising the floor significantly. I cant imagine your head not hitting the ceiling if you sat on the floor. Obviously... theres no seat back there right now. Duh. the back seat would be raised 4 inches .... .. ........ last time I sat back there the sunroof/guillotine wasn't rusty enough yet Link to comment
Uber Deaf One
Obviously... theres no seat back there right now. Duh. Hard to fit rear seats with a rollbar/cage :P I'm slowly getting better at welding,,,, and I stopped trying to weld outside in the wind ......... . it's probably not going to be SCCA legal or anything,,, it's just for fun Oh I know, I'm just thinking it might be a good idea to get someone to weld some of the structurally important things. Safety first lol Link to comment
]2eDeYe
You might take Uber Deaf One up on his offer... You at least want to ground your welder to bare metal. ;) PS, I always start on the passenger side too so I don't have to look at my learning curve all the time  Link to comment
INDY510
. Haha .... ... . I scratched the clamp though the paint a few times,,,,,, it worked ..... the whole roll cage will drop down through the floors and real plates will be welded in..... then rear crossmemeber mounts My biggest concern is if i can fit a L16, or if it has to be something more expensive ... .. (now would be the time for a Hayabusa in the passenger seat) This is what a L16 looks like after 10 years under a tarp: and then 5 years later..... Link to comment
Laecaon
Rotarys are short, though not a fan. Subi motors... eh, doing spark plugs through the wheel well is fun. Maybe some toyota motor is short... Maybe a dry sump L16 and mount it lower to the cross member... Link to comment
