thisismatt
Yeah, 67 520. Correct, the base is fiberboard and most I've seen (as this one) are water damaged. ABS sheet was my plan as well. Plan to use the same for door cards, etc. 1 Quote Link to comment
greenthumb
Good stuff. How far does the frame extend under the fibreboard? When you say 1 5/8thick rim, that's the height of the frame also then? Sorry to be such a pita, but I'm pretty stoked to try this. I have a few ideas that should be pretty doable 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Metal wraps under 2" with the fiberboard overlapping on top of the metal by 7/8". Yeah, by thick I mean tall, aka the height. Fiberboard is about 5/32" thick, although it looks swollen around the rivets so I'd wager it was probably 1/8" originally. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Great score on the parts Matt. That under dash shelf is much better than the one Terry had in Tuscon. Quote Link to comment

d.p
Welp I was wrong not like mine at all, mine is cork board or whatever it is. 1 Quote Link to comment

thisismatt
Little parcel tray restoration. First flatten, then template, then cut & route. Need to blast and powder coat the frame. Last two show test rivet, stainless. Had to weld up some pieces to hold the dies - worked out pretty well! 3 Quote Link to comment

thisismatt
Where can I get that stuff? You got a line on it?From an earlier model, before the solid fiberboard version. Took me a few years to get one... 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
So 520s? Any other models have them? 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Yes, 320s and maybe 410/411. The bracket arm on the 320 is a little different but not a deal breaker as it's just some bar with Brenda and radiused ends 1 Quote Link to comment
