MODALsoul
My 1982 with 134K on it. repainted it from white and rust to this color and its going to get painted again. Factory seats were junk so they were replaced with Escort GT buckets. Other than the Toyota Teta rims and redone exhaust its pretty much stock. did you have to weld any part of the railings on the seats? or were they an exact fit? Quote Link to comment

lwrdr2121
No they didnt bolt right in. I had to make a plywood base to set the seat on first. They bolt the base to the tracks. Only one of the bolt holes actually lined up. Drivers seat was harder since the entire seat also tilts back. A friend of mine that has a 79 210 put a set of mid 90's Honda Civic seats in it. He had an easier time that I did. Quote Link to comment

Drive510
I keep seeing a 210 Sunny parked on the side of street here, but I can't find out what year it is. Perhaps someone can help me out. I'm curious to ask the owner if they would sell it. It's baby blue and heavily oxidized(but rust free). Missing the front left corner signal by the headlight. It's different in that this 210 has the actual name "Datsun" on the grill and not the regular "D" like other 210's I've seen. I'm starting to fall more and more in love with it. Especially after seeing these post on speedhunters, Enjoy. http://speedhunters.com/archive/2008/12/04/event-gt-gt-more-scenes-from-the-2008-nismo-festival.aspx http://speedhunters.com/archive/2008/07/14/event-gt-gt-jcca-tsukuba-summer-meeting-pt-1.aspx http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010/04/07/event-gt-gt-nagoya-exciting-car-showdown-pt-2.aspx Any help about that 210 I keep seeing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. What are the tuning potentials (specs) of an A series engine? Not too much info on 210's that I can find on the web. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
If it says Datsun, it's either an 81 or an earlier with an '81 grill. To my understanding, the 1981 was the ONLY year that had "Datsun" and not the "D". Mine's an '81, but I slapped the '80 grill on it for the hell of it. My original was breaking. As far as A-series potential, it's really kind of limited. Building an A series race engine is expensive, but there are 10 second A15's. They are very reliable and fuel efficient engines though. 1 Quote Link to comment
