what actually holds you back from driving this thing later on? why not instead throw in some air struts that would adapt into a 510, im sure theres something out there, to get it up to a drivable ride height and when youre parked or whatever drop the dam thing. I mean whats the point in having a vehicle you cant even drive around a car show. it might as well just be a model then. not trying to kill your build or anything, just giving some suggestions.

 

What's the point in having a car that looks cool and low when parked, only to raise it up to drive it and have it look lame then?

 

(I have a thing against bags...)

You should knotch the body like 2 inches where the front crossmember bolts to it so the crossmember won't hit the ground but the rockers would almost be dragging. You would prob have to trim the tranny tunnel as well, but then it might be drivable that low

I took alot of pics of the sanding process,,, and plan to take pics of the painting too. ... I might start a, "How to paint your datto with a $65 SPRAY GUN...... and a 2 gallon air compressor" ..... if anyone is interested...

 

 

I don't think I will ever paint the orange door.......... will it look wierd with dark green?

I kinda like the idea of having the shiny paint hidden....... but if I ever paint the exterior it will be the same color as the engine bay..... and yellow undercoat....

maybe the floors too?
