Eagle_Adam
flex plate took a shit so Pumpkin and i replaced it with jassifrass starts beautifully now :) so when pumpkin came down to swap the flex plate there wasn't a flair tool present so when the hard lines to the trans were cut to remove the trans they still leaked after being re-sleeved.. Soooooo.... i picked up a double flair tool and went to town now the trans shouldn't leak :D Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
time for the final bleed on the breaks after replacing just about everything in the system! and then all hell broke loose i snapped a fucking bleeder valve off in the master >< so i said fuck it and bought these ;) just to snap one off in the bleeder valve so now its time for a new master -.- Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
so until the new master shows up its time to button up some of the smaller detail and other systems that needed help. Onto the cooling system, it got a new thermostat which helped but didnt solve the delema's at hand think this might be an issue? So it was out with all the old hoses and in with some new ones New radiator with fresh paint and in it goes Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
sometimes its the small things, like hazard flashers new relay and the problem is solved :D So if jassifrass wont update her thread i guess im gunna have to :P Quote Link to comment

Laecaon
Cooling issues? Do you have a fan shroud for it? That would help a lot. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Cooling issues? Do you have a fan shroud for it? That would help a lot. no fan shroud :hmm: - issue was the car wasnt warming up enough and the heater sucked ass. A new thermostat helped, but didnt solve all the issues. The new radiator is only there to replace the old one that had the auto trans cooler crunched. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Before installing think about mounting it on the driver's side. Fill the old holes with JB and sand down. The driver's side is better for several reasons but I like: Because it's easier to reach you can run it down when in shitty neighborhoods (it's no longer easy to reach by assholes walking down the sidewalk) or anywhere where backing up might snap it off on a branch. Eagle_Adam
Its the smallest mods that make the biggest difference sometimes especially with 30+ year old bushings  keep it up yup! i think this is the first time this car has been thoroughly gone through to see what all needed to be done. We have fixed and replaced more small things than big things. Hopefully when we finally get her off the jack stands and moving under her own power again she will be like a new car for jassifrass. Well that's the goal at least :D The hood bumpers came from a 280z, i was hoping they would just screw in but no luck. So we just drilled thru and put a nut on both sides The master has been bench bled, installed, and plumbed. Still need to bleed it again and then bleed the rest of the breaks. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Good for you guys. Keep up the good work. Quote Link to comment
