Eagle_Adam
couldn't find them anywhere else so i had to get them off egay but the new interior door handles finally came in after a few shipping issues the one on her passenger side only opens if you hold it at the right spot and the drivers side is on its way out too. Should be back on its wheels tonight!!! Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
grill is done, a coat of plastic primer, 3 coats of blac, and 2 coats of clear picked up some polish for the grill trim and windsheild trim came out lookn good after a round of steel wool and polish one more round of polish and it should be good :D the passenger side inner door handle was toast so i snagged a new set from ebay, much better now my brother is getting good with door panels ;) took the old valve cover off, re-torqued the head bolts and staged the gasket and valve cover so we could see the end results :D just need to do a valve adjustment before we tighten down the valve cover Quote Link to comment

bonvo
those spots really arent that bad you should see whats hiding under the silicone on my coupe Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I'd say it's bad enough to be cause for concern. The metal on our Datsuns is very thin(they don't call em J-Tins for nothin'). If any of those little pockets get much deeper, they'll be holes. :( Good on you guys for addressing it. Eagle_Adam
They may not be "that bad" but I also don't have the time to fix them Correctly right now so rust inhibitor was applied tonight and primer will go down tomorrow. The grill came out looking phanominal! Pics tomorrow Quote Link to comment
bonvo
im not saying to ignore them im saying it could be much worse Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
My sedan... You could see a small bubbling above the chrome trim but nothing really. It leaked terrible and Grahem, who I got it from, had to store outside and have the drain plug in the pass floor open. I stored for the winter of '08/'09 with a garbage bag draped over that area. We mentioned the leak to the body guy and he yanked it out to find.... Good that you have a goon as the lower part under the rear window rots away too. It all had to be welded up, painted and glass put back in. ya, ive been shown :P Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
got the master bench bled and installed last night, but for some reason i decided to put a screwdriver thru the tip of my thumb before i could get the hardlines attached to the MC so we moved onto other projects, the grill is done and it just screams sexy and I know it :D Fresh grill bling!!! 1 Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
the drivers door is pretty bad compared to the rest bottom Inside found out why tho, its the only door with the window channel felt missing so in rainy oregon weather it turns into a swimming pool in the door.......
