Pacific coast Datsun
Nis720- If you bring the cowl to JCCS i can shave it the following week. Tom- good guess :D I went with the same color my 320 had on the roof. It's very close to the factory Datsun color "island turquoise" used on the 521's... I love the looks my neigbhors give me when i paint outside... Quote Link to comment

Pacific coast Datsun
Yeah Dave most likely ill have it all that color 1 day. I wouldnt mind a 2 tone either with a simple graphic between the 2 colors. Hell, it only took 4 years to get some color on a few parts  Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
Where did you get that front license plate frame? I bought my 1999 Frontier at Smith Mesa Nissan, formerly Smith Mesa Datsun. Oh great plate. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Charlie- i won the frame on E-bay a few months ago. Took some steel wool & paint remover to it :D Small world that you bought a truck from the same dealership. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
The latest pic of the 620 as of last Sat. is here. I wet sanded the entire truck & shot some high build primer for a color change mostly. Good news- i found all the dings. Bad news- theres alot ;) Quote Link to comment
VoidDragon
Sorry this is like 10 years late, but I just joined and read the entire thread. Love the truck. Love convertible tops. Wish i lived in SoCal so i could do the same thing. I was intrigued bye your attempt at the Chain linked suspension and I came up with a couple ideas. I only drew up one illustration tho, cuz I sucks at MSPaint. Assuming you even wanna screw with it any more, if not, just food for thought. Edited October 7, 2009 by VoidDragon missspellings gah. lowdatsun620
Dude, you got a very clean truck, PCD. I've been hooked to your thread for a couple hours now, read ALMOST all of it :P Will definitely have questions for you as I get into the bodywork stages of my build. Keep up the good work! Pacific coast Datsun
Thanks for the props guys. Got back to a few small things that have been put off. The main thing is im swapping in a new radiator, a huge TY to Gman for donating to the cause. In the process of making tabs that will bolt to the core suport. Also removing, cleaning & painting most of the small parts. I went with a candy blue.......... & Fontana 620 donated some chrome radiator hoses a few months back, hoping to get those installed tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
Did'nt get too much done today other than install the radiator w/ new upper hose & all the parts w/ fresh paint.......... Quote Link to comment
J.C_620
love your build but i would recomend not driving this truck with the lower hose removed:hyper: Quote Link to comment
slam_dat_sun
That is HOTT, are you still coming to our swap meet? Quote Link to comment
Pacific coast Datsun
I ended up using the stock lower hose. The chrome collar was hitting the frame & would'nt fit all the way over the outlet. Slam yeah ill be @ the PHX swap but not in the 620. Quote Link to comment
slam_dat_sun
That is cool, I would like to meet you and some day me and my wife will cruise to cali and meet your Datsun :D Quote Link to comment
