  3. well there goes half of your datsuns. just teasin.:D my wife and i have been together for 12 years. congrats.
  4. now thats a true ratsun. make it run and drive before u remove or paint over the grafitti. what besides the glass do you need? how about some pics?
  5. use a l16 oil pan on the l20b. your steering will rub on the l20b pan if you dont.
  6. lets not forget the original jack and tool bar with handle. hard to change a spare without it. got a lug wrench in my factory datsun tool bag.
  7. kiz just turn a bed upside down and you have youself an instant hat rack.:D
  8. it seems to me those camera's would pay themselves off very quickly and cost almost nothing to run after that. then again when the fed and city charge $100 for a pen or sheet of paper.....
  9. some people are anal about boring and replacing the pistons everytime. i say if it aint broke then dont fix it. i'm sure lots of blocks out there can still hold a standard bore.
  10. there was a guy on the news a year ago, he was getting mad gas mileage by doing little tricks like coasting on every little hill. and i mean every little hill. coasted till he was almost stopped then went slow to the next hill. seemed like he was pissing people off by going so slow.
  11. try turning the engine the other way. could be a dropped valve head sitting on the piston.
  12. ouch, never let someone test drive your car alone. if we find him can we beat the shit out of him? if you know his first and last name it may work to your advantage. try to find where he hangs out.
  13. i've always liked the idea of being able to keep a rig at a friends or familys place. but keep the 320 if not both. thats what the collection is about. i live in a apartment and have 4 rides here. i'm only allowed 2 in the lot and the other 2 stay on the street. all have to be tabbed and running. the projects get parked over at my step moms. you could always rent a place for storage spot for it if ya got the cash.
  14. nooooooo!!! i'll always remember you friend. these tears i shed are for you. my dad passed 2 years ago on the 14th of this month.
  15. welcome larry, you found us. nice engine.
  16. this may have already been said but for process of elimination get 4 feet of hose and run it between the tank side of the filter or tank side of the pump and a fuel can. if it runs fine your line is clogged. if it does the same thing it is probably one of the other issues i mentioned.
  17. i thought you said you had fixed this? if you can hear air coming back into the tank at a good rate then it's not plugged. just undo the fuel hose at the filter and blow with your mouth. if you can hear air passage with such low blowing pressure then it cant be that clogged. compressed air would really let you know how much air is passing by the sound. 1. unhook the fuel hose at the carb. 2. pour gas down the carb and start it. 3. if fuel squirts out of the hose you know the line, pump, filter are fine. pay close attention to the fuel filter it will give signs. if the fuel in the filter is really low or fluctuates you have a air leak from the hose clamps. not all air leaks into the line will drip fuel out. change the old style wire clamps to new style. also if you have a hitachi carb with the front window plate that has the little circle for a window change it out and find the full 2''x3'' glass plate from the older carbs to put in. then you can watch the fuel level in the float bowl much better. i find that alot of the hitachi inlet valves at the hose get stuck open or closed. if you dont have the big glass plate to look into tap on top of the inlet with a hammer as it starts to die. that will seat it temporarely for a moment. atleast you'll know your onto something good luck bro.
  18. he will delete anyone with 0 feedbacks unless you contact him first. true dat. see kiz he knows how to play the game.:P
  19. great price and great work. i'd like to see those sun visors.:)
  20. my wife loves the fact that i have hobbies. datsuns being the biggest and speakers being the most in numbers. i can park my rides outside but speakers need to go inside. where do i put all 30 pairs? dont ask.:D now if i could just get some vintabe jbl's to fit in my 521....
  21. nice going, worn out seats really bring a ride down. how much did the door panels and seat set you back? thanks for taking the time to spiff up your 521. may i suggest you put the trans tunnel cover on top of the rug. gives it a cleaner look. keep up the good work.:)
  22. mopar rocks! although i cant see the pics. i drove my 65 dart for many years slant 6 with the pedal to the floor. it would still do 95 on the freeway, pedal to the metal with the 1bbl holley 1920 carb. and that was just a couple years ago as the second owner with the engine never taken apart. now i have a slant 6 2bbl super six in a 78 volare and i swear that dart 4dr was faster. all hail the rare aluminium block 225. let me know if you find one or even seen one.
