Try closing the latching mech while the door is open then operate the outside handle and see if its tight or easy. That will tell you where to start looking. If it pops open easy then some playing (adjusting) in the door jam will be necessary.

This is the one you want to find. I saw 2 on ebay last year both were nos with nissan part numbers. The owners manual lists it as a option but as a fender option like the japan version. I believe those were both stock. You could also have them put on the big after market truck mirrors. Or wrap around bumper or amco side steps and side handles ect.

BAM!! Exact fit for the 521. Now I need to get my shaft rechromed. I didn't even have to cut my rubber one off I just twisted and pulled.

l16 w53 head weber and electronic dist with 4 speed I do 70mph at 4k and 80mph at 5k all day long everyday. l16 stock with hitachi carb and pollution control I can do 70mph easy but it takes a while to get up to speed. I'm sure it goes faster I just haven't pushed it that hard. This is in my trucks mind you. Wrong, just got off the freeway and it was 68mph at 4k and 80mph at 4.6k

The stock aluminum fuel pumps have a ball bearing on the lower left side that will squirt oil and you'll never know where the leak is coming from. The cadmium (gold) can style pumps dont have the ball bearing on the side.

Dont use the roadster pressure plate there is no reason for it. I have one in my stock 521 and it's ridiculous. My l16 with w53 head and weber and possibly flat tops has a after market (japan) clutch from ebay and I can drop the clutch and do 90+ at 5k and been driving it for years. Damn thing is quicker than my l20b. Point is the roadster clutch is hella hard to press in for no gain.

I have a speedometer for you. It's seperate from the cluster do you think you can take your cluster apart and put it in? pm me.

I haven't taken them out of the car yet as it's still being driven. I didn't see anything like those when I looked under there so I probably need them.

I currently have the dash out and before I put it back in I need the defrost vents that go to the windshield and a auto trans speedo cable. Got them thanks.

Cool I measured my 521 and b210 and they will work. Any left? If you do color black would be most universal. So I'd be in for 2 black or 2 aluminum.

For a 10 year period I almost got rid of my 521 many times cause it wouldn't stop. Countless brake jobs(at the shop) and I kept telling everyone it stops on a dime going in reverse. As it turns out when I did my king pins years ago I put the damn whole hub/knuckle assembly's on the wrong sides so the single piston wheel cylinders were pointing the wrong way. After I noticed that from looking at my next 521 it was like winning the lottery. :hyper:

Can someone measure the diameter of the shaft or inside diameter of the knob? Thanks in advance.

I love it. how about a engine bay pic and a close up of those square floor mats. Are they rugged or rubber? No biggie but your interior chrome door pulls are upside down. I had mine upside down for years.

originals were a square sided rubber o-ring from the ones ive taken out.
