Very nice Wayno. What year is this from? I have tons of 521 and 520 pics and never seen one until recently. Great close up I thought they were smooth but I can see in between the lines now. :cool:

So I noticed a different style glove box knob on a 520 recently on ebay then a month later I see a vid clip of a corporation or something in the general section with a red datsun 520 having the rare glove box knob. I am sure both were the same year of 1966 or 65. So this must be a early one year or partial year knob. If you have one please post a pic. Also I recently got some parts from a 1966 520 including the dash with a white normal style knob. These must be the early next design with white plastic before they turned black sometime in 1966 or 1967. Anyone have or seen this one? I'm trying to see how common this one is.

What I cant stand is how ebay is going down the road like the nickel want add. It used to be just people at home selling their wares but now I type in amc hornet (77) or toyota supra(80) and I get 20,000 and 63,000 hits from all the damn auto distributors. The only way I can filter the crap is clicking on the used tab which pretty much screws me for finding nos if its not labeled nos in the title. Then there is the warehouse seller with the same part listed 100 times. :angry: I still love ebay but god damn. Remember when you could watch a youtube video without a commercial or pop up ad? WTF.

Does anyone have a parts catalog for a 75 b210 I can borrow or know where I can download one? The passenger seat belt would not stop catching to the point you couldn't put it on no matter how slow you pulled on it and when tour teenage daughter is driving you it can be scary. :sweat:. I wanted to buy the one on ebay but the price is crazy ridiculous. :mad: Peeled back the rubber cover. Do not remove the white cap with the big retracting spring only the clear cap. pressed and bent this tab down about 1mm Shortened this spring. I put some zoom oil between the black frame and the white round disc which is what was sticking and causing the problem. Bending the tab down and shortening the spring were extras to make sure it will be trouble free. It works awesome now and catches like it should.

The defrost switch was loosing connection and working intermittently it also had a hard crunchy feeling when pressing it. Careful not to loose the spring and plastic piece. I turned one tab and removed the contact plate for cleaning. I used a very small amount of oil on the plastic finger that rubs on the contact plate on reassembly.

So I got around to doing a few things to the b210 like fixing the seat belt and defrost switch and the heater controls. Here they are. The heater controls were gummed up and the low speed didn't work so I took all the cables off and removed it for cleaning. I removed the screw that holds the black stopper in the top right of this pic. Then I could slide the heater switch over far enough to disengage it and drop down through the selector plate. Disassemble position should look like this. I put a small amount of grease on reassembly. The low fan speed was just the heater resistor on the side of the housing that was disconnected at one end.

I bought a muffler hanger from him. I need some parts he has but crazy ridiculous is the term I used to describe his prices in the ebay seller doesn't know what he has thread. Thanks to him I decided to rebuild some of my parts I WANTED TO REPLACE.

I've seen way worse. actually the prices aren't that bad. Anything with the old style red white and blue box is not going to be cheap no matter who's selling it including ratsun members. Besides when your the only one that has a certain piece on the market you can basically ask whatever you want. Also nomatter the stigma not all datsun owners or ratsun members are cheap. Especially with some of the really clean 521's that have been popping up this year that I'm jealous about. People will pay money for a new nos part like $300 for a uncracked 521 dash pad. nla 521 inner wheel bearings??? I tried to pay $90 a piece at the dealer and got refunded cause they just dont have them anymore and never will. But yeah. There is a guy parting out a b210 on ebay and the parts are rough and the prices are ridiculous. I almost bid on those. The seller did a poor job with the pics angle wise so it looked kinda funky to me. But now that I see a profile view of your b210 they look pretty good.

Hello my friend and welcome. Your grill is not stock but looks like it goes perfect with the truck. Any idea what its off of? These are the 2 usa versions.

I forget I have these cause I was pissed off after I bought them. I way over paid and when they got to me the box was creased so I opened it up and a few inches from the edge one or both boards were broke so I just tucked them away.

I think I have those door panels!!!!!!!! Wait stop what ur doing. I bought them a few years back and never used them. I'LL find a pic. They are in good used shape.

pic of the plate thing and it looks like your knub end is broken off as was the case of one of mine. does it have the little brass tumbler things sticking out of the top?
