Friend stopped by to put his 1994 ( i think ) nissan altima he bought at auction on my scope to see why it was running REAL bad and not wanting to hook up machine without checking easy stuff. ( kiss ) I pulled plugs to have a look, and the number one wire end had lots of water on it and the second had quite a bit of sweatiness going on, the back two no dampness at all..Heres the question can water get in the spark plug holes because of a gasket leak?? I marked it up to a goofball detailer going nuts with pressure washer but would like a answer..not exactly sure of engine i assume it was Ka24de( because just dried wires and it ran fine ) but it looked like.... only WAY more beat I just noticed i wasn`t in other Nissan / Datsuns oops

If OP is talking about searching "craigslist" , just put the word --Datsun--in search box because most people dont even know what motor is in the car their selling,,and in the case of 411`s they might not even know what it is other than being a Datsun.If you narrow search to far you wont find anything. And if the person selling the car has researched the car enough to know every detail, they know what it`s worth.

Doesn`t the plug go straight into the top of chamber on a KA like yours?? If so moving plug in and out wont do anything ,plug indexing was used when plug went into chamber at an angle so spark would be completely exposed to piston.But honestly cutting the end off of the ground wire ( the bent part ) then gapping that against the electrode seemed to do just as much,,But now they make plugs that way from the factory.

That is one fine looking car man,, keepin the bumpers for safety ( of the car ) is a good idea for a daily driver i know everybody wants to take then off first thing but i dont know,,that sheet metal is pretty dang rare. And yours is exceptionally nice

I had a 1980 that i put 3 inch body lift on.. it`s pretty easy just have to cut the bottom out of fan shroud and change base of steering column and blocks can be put in one side /corner at time with floor jack..I used stock toyota 15 inch rims with tall skinny tires 15 x 7.00 and that truck drove me around for like 8 years...

Maybe take wheel off truck paint ends of lugs ( just ends ) get pattern on piece of paper then hold paper up to back of wheel and look through holes to see if they match up.. and if ya resell the wheels just BE HONEST..

I would use a junk Datsun truck cause even a rat rod is a bottomless money pit and saving money on somebody else's ruined project you would be throwing almost all of the body type parts away anyway...hondo-do,& izupoo frame mentions were for reference only Also that rat rod with iron cross ( in pumpkin link ) is for sale it lives in Bonney lake..
