  2. http://portland.craigslist.org/yam/pts/2609267592.html "...might also be a 520 body in the brush somewhere." :( :(
  3. Start a thread in the "Datsuns for Sale" section. Be sure to read the "Read before Posting" before posting. GLWS!
  4. Pickin up 3 620's this Saturday :D

  5. I ended up taking the dash. Would have liked to get the fiber optic setup too. One of the 620's is an auto. Two of them have A87 heads. The rockers on the green truck are PRISTINE! And that dash has only 2 very small cracks. It had an old, wierd lookin weber, but it's gone now. Some nice black and grey bucket seats in one. The green truck must have been stored pretty well, all the connectors on the harness look friggin brand new! If anyone needs an under-dash harness, this would be the one to get. The 620 in the North Portland yard has a W58. Might be a peanut, I already got the W58 peanut head off the truck next to it ( for $38 HEHE)
  6. B210, weird paint.... $575. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/2607724402.html
  7. Portland, OR right? There are three 620's at the foster yard w/ timing covers, they want $16 for one (plus the $2 to get in)
  8. My 5 yr old son got bit by the Datsun bug. He seems to have commandeered my truck, and demanded I "just use your welder to move the pedals so my feet can reach." Hmmm... Kill switch time?

I'll put the pressure switch offa one of those Safeway mobility carts. Cuts power unless it's got about 150lbs of pressure, mount under driver seat lulz. When I was younger, me and my buddy made of w/ a pair, and had a race. his kept switchin off and on cuz he was only like 140lbs Haha, I smoked him w/ my top speed of 3mph.

  11. I searched tryin to find a cylinder head for a SF area member, and there's a '65 Datsun truck near there too! Once I retire, I wanna travel the country scooping up parts and rigs year round, my dream job :) Pick-n-Pull - Stockton (Main Store) 3927 Clark Drive Stockton, CA 95215 US 209-462-1927 Row #141
  12. Yah, was a decent looking project. I'm a sucker for strays like that. Hell, I'm havin' real serious thoughts of trailering up thos 3 620's from Salem next weekend LOL, anyone wanna buy a 620? :P

  13. nice dash, I just got one w/ only 2 small cracks. That thing would need a lot of work, and you guy's JYs aren't flooded w/ 620's like ours :P
  14. 620's don't have column lock= very easy to steal. Any douchbag tweeker could pull it off. The Start switch is on here, pretty cool but will lighten your wallet. You can russle up some switches and hide a kill switch, but don't use the usual locations, cuz theifs know where to look for those. Main thing about stealing a car is convenience. If they have to jump through a buncha hoops, they gonna give up after breaking your window and butchering your wiring. Put a club, a cheapo noisemaker alarm, and a killswitch, then they gotta REALLY want it :) The rotor trick is great too, but for long term. You prob don't wanna pull the rotor every night, and install every morning... In the rain.
  15. 76-79. Did you search the "Datsuns for sale" at bottom of page?
  16. Check our FS section for heads in your hood. If no, throw up a want ad on here, and explain your case. Good luck! All else fails, I see some L motor vehicles in the PicknPulls around you, go snag one. And Holy Cow, they got a pickup from '65 at one of your yards! Niiiice.
  17. K, so I should call my Ma, AND have my eyes checked! lol. You may wanna take some spare tubing and use like a stethoscope, poke around see if you can hear any hissing at vacuum connections. I hear old timers spray flammable stuff like carb cleaner, starting fluid, on hoses and connection points and listen for raised idle, which would indicate the mixture got sucked into the vacuum leak, changed the air/fuel ratio. Hmmm. Stethoscope sounds safer....
  18. ya, the wood thing didn't work on mine, it let the tensionr out just enough to eff up the spring, but didn't drop down in the pan.
  19. Not L motor compatable :( I will have to back out of this sale. Thank you OP for your dilligence in this matter. A note to Ratsun members, "MYDAILYROUTINE" is an honest, up-front salesman.
  20. NICE. I cleaned the peanut head that is going on soon, did some visualization and drooling regarding the dual Hitachis that are on the way, and started welding up some of the factory seams :)
